I don't know, I feel like if his family connections (coach flo) wouldnt be enough to sway him, then brandon won't help.

BABC 16U team beat TakeOver 30-29 in the Championship today. That was Nerlens Noel, Wayne Selden, vs BJ Anya, Stanford Robinson ,etc..and III was there to watch.
III also on hand to watch TJ Warren play earlier in day vs Rodney Purvis, Theo Pinson, and CP3 team.
III watched Troy Williams and Brandon Bolden play as well.

Whats the word on our involvement with Pollard lately? I haven't heard much.
Also, what does everyone make of our chances with TJ Warren? Amile Jefferson? Theres still a lot of top notch prospects to be had in this class, and we're still in on many. I'm beginning to wonder if our chances with Warren are actually pretty strong. III is on this kid constantly. We still have coaches hanging around at Jefferson's games as well. With all of the '12 prospects we're on (Anderson, Drummond, Pollard, Warren, Jefferson; all top 40 guys), we have given ourselves the potential to walk away with a stellar class, but a couple of chips have to fall our way.

Hoyas also tracking Twymond Howard from Mississippi recently--good too he's had a strong summer albeit quiet because so many coaches wonder if he'll go CFB route.
Georgetown has kept tab on Wannah Bail too--a forward out of Houston.
Also was seen at numerous games of Texas Pro recently--Chicken Knowles, but I'd be beyond happy if it was to make a move for Danuel House--that kid has chance to be one of the best Pro Prospects that class of '12 produces.

All of the Duke loving suck ups are defending Coach K and saying it's not a big deal and he's not a "dirty" coach. Everyone sells their soul once in a while and K hasn't had to lately with Nike helping he and Boeheim recruit while they spent Summer helping USA Basketball. Now there were the Boozer/Duhon parents getting jobs they didn't have any business getting and re-locating to live in Durham and the Myron Piggie situation which netted K Maggette, but Duke's never stooped to a level of breaking rules.

Speaking of underhanded duke recruiting. How is Nolan Smith allowed to coach Assault. Seems like a complete conflict of interest to have a recent player coaching prospective recruits.

Amile Jefferson is off the radar--forget about him. Devonta Pollard--III was at his game tonight against CBC and Andre Drummond/Kris Dunn. Pollard's team won in OT. It was his first game back after getting poked in eye/injured. Had a sick dunk on 3 defenders that will be up on video soon and linked here when it is. Anthony Grant was only other HC there. III will be at Kyle Anderson's game at a NYC/NJ Event tomorrow as it's last day of July Evaluation Period. Hoya coaches (Kirby/Hunter) will stay in Orlando for end of AAU Nationals--Boo Williams still alive with Bolden/Troy Williams. TJ Warren dropped 35 and 40 today.

Pollard and TJ Warren play the same position, right? Which one would you rather take?

I think Pollard is the more talented player and the one with more upside, but I think Warren is a more likely get. Warren can flat out score so I wouldn't mind that at all.

Right now we have three schollies opening up over the next two years. Sure transfers COULD happen but right now...three for '11 and '12. So if the Hoyas were fortunate to get Kyle I wouldn't go after Warren or Pollard. With guys like Anderson, Porter, Whittington, Bowen, Jabril and Hopkins to an extent (I'm not including Hollis since he is an upperclassmen and could leave the program sooner than later) the Hoyas would have enough guys who could play or fill in the role(s) of big wing player. No need to stack them all so close together so I would hold off and see if I could bring in another tall wing for 2013 (someone like Troy Williams).
Of course this is only if the Hoyas get Anderson in the first place.

III's watching Kyle Anderson and Mike Young of Playaz and Rysheed Jordan play at End Of Summer Event hosted by Hoop Group.
Kirby is on Pollard/Warren down in Orlando.
An Event is going on in DC (Big Shots) and sure there is likely a Hoya coach there too.
Boo Williams was upset by Alabama Challenge team in Quarters of AAU Nationals. Troy Williams played well and no mention of Brandon Bolden's performance (unfortunately that has been norm the entire AAU season)

That's what scares me. To go often unmentioned in the AAU season before your senior year is just not good.
