At least this 6 seed should quiet any of the occasional "woe-is-me, everyone is against Georgetown" posts. The committee seems to have rewarded the team for the very tough schedule and disregarded the late-season swoon (assuming they factored in CW's injury).

"The O'Neills were kicked out of the JW Mariott hotel in downtown Los Angeles by security, just hours after USC's win over Cal. The Arizona donor suffered a laceration on his face. Calls to the JW Mariott security department were not immediately returned." What a thug.

I think 6 is just right for the Hoyas. Wouldn't have been surprised by a 7, but I just didn't see us as a 5 or an 8/9. I think they got rewarded for the schedule / RPI.
I'm also pretty happy with the draw of either VCU or USC.
And I'm freakin' ECSTATIC that Chris will be back.

I think it's a huge advantage that 2 #11's have to beat each other up and will have only 1 day to prepare for us while we have 3 days to prepare for both of them and then an extra day of preparation when the winner is decided.

I think the seed was actually generous. I could have understood a 7 seed. If we didnt collapse at the end of the season a 4 or 5 woul dhave been nice. All that being said I dont see how we dont win 2 games in this tournament.

I think this is absolutely the best seed and first round scenario we could have hoped for. Although I think Purdue is the best #3 seed and probably better than some of the #2 seeds. Not a great second round matchup if we make it through.
But as has been noted, focus is on game #1.

A 6 seed means that they don't believe chris will be back or at least won't be 100%. Our Resume is better than every single 5 seed with exception of WV.

Talk of purdue is interesting and all, but the team has a lot to work out before getting there. Nothing in the last four games, including the time with Chris gives me a lot of confidence. Sure if we can make it thru one game, get a w, anything can happen. But until then I'll feel uneasy. Here is hoping

I emailed Doyel after Chris was cleared to practice and play, called him out for accusing us of being dishonest, and asked what kind of apology he was going to give; no response yet, and sounds like he is hoping against hope Chris won't play or won't be effective so he can claim he was right. If Chris can do the job, we will hear nothing else from this bozo.

Yes our biggest concern is inserting Wright back into the line-up. It might distrupt the amazing chemistry they developed with him out. The only good part of the last four games is that the team literally played they same way just without Wright. Nothing actually needs to be changed our adjusted in the way we were playing like most teams do when a player returns from injury.
