The staff worked hard on this kid, but looks like the hometown/family pull was too strong. Can't hang your head about this one like you can with some others. If we get Troy Williams, I still think we're fine at the swing spots given Otto, Greg, Jabril, and Aaron. I always thought a wing was a bigger priority in '13 than '12, so hopefully we can lock up TW and everyone will be happy.

lol. There are some kids that have came here that may have been better suited else where, but There aren't too many places where Chris would have improved as a PG more than he did in his time here. He goes to play in the ACC and chucks 20 times a game, he'd be even more upset about where he is now.

In CW's defense, he never says who is he is talking about. But on the other hand, he does say college boy made the right decision TODAY so it seems pretty clear. He also has made comments in the past about the system holding him back. So have other players who have transferred and/or graduated.

Doesnt it seem that anytime there is a recruit were on for a while and it comes down to us and maybe 2 other schools with a date certain for a commitment we lose out? (warren, anderson, christmas etc..)

I am so excited for the new energy being injected to this program right now. We had good times with outgoing class, but I think everyone had enough.

Wouldn't expect that from Chris. Disappointing if we're reading it the right way, to say the least.
I sincerely doubt we're ever going to see a comment like that from Jabril, and that's one of the many reasons I'm excited about new blood in the program.

Chris Wright has more in common with Jeremiah Rivers than we were all willing to admit while he was on the team.

1974 is correct as to NC State's title under Sloan. That was a great team led by David Thompson and Tom Burleson, but the only reason they won is that they had the good fortune to play the Final Four in Greensboro that year. When they played UCLA on a neutral court earlier in the year, they got their heads handed to them.

Devonta is not a better player than TJ....lol Daytona, I certainly don't question your basketball savvy, but this doesn't seem to be the consensus. Why do you feel TJ is better than Pollard?

Devonta is a great, great athlete, but TJ is Paul Pierce all over again. He's not the athlete that Pollard is, but he can score from all three levels, and he's a legit 6-7. In our system he would've been an all-american. He haven't had anyone that could do what he's capable of. Dude straight gets buckets on anyone, and we could've done so much with him, especially with Greg and Otto with him. I wanted TJ more than I wanted Kyle. But life goes on

Do you really think a former star for N.C. State would just put this up here for GP? Lot of madness in the State of NC I don't think he would toy around with this situation. Do you know if Hodge has made proclamations like this before and been wrong? Proof? Help me out here, just asking...Hodge has a big voice over there in those neck of the woods man...lol Look at the replies to his post one of them reads: "4 hours ago.Taylor Pruden Here you go again. If you're wrong again, I will be making another call to Chris Paul!" Sounds like he's made predictions like this before and been wrong based on that. yessir, but did you read when Hodge commented back to Taylor: Julius Hodge ý@taylor ahaahahahaa! i'll be sure to wear a cup! Now that sounds like a sure bet, and it was a sure bet too lol...

Def wanted TJ more than Anderson. Need to focus on sealing the deal with upshaw and move on to '13 The one positive is hopefully letting Greg develop faster into the stud he's capable of

When they played UCLA on a neutral court earlier in the year, they got their heads handed to them. My recollection of that game was UCLA just didn't take it that seriously, didn't play well. They had the attitude that all they had to do was show up. That, and David Thompson was the greatest player on the planet.
