Drats.
Good luck to TJ. If Gottfried can coach up his first class, they'll give their ACC neighbors fits over the next few seasons.
Good on the staff for hanging in until the end.

good luck to the kid, love his game and wish him well.
Very interested to see where the staff goes now. Always thought an additional SF would be a luxury (a damn nice luxury with TJ) but the two needs for me: athleticism and defense in back court and a legit big (Upshaw)

Good job by Kenya Hunter of keeping Hoyas in this--and they hung in there until the end.
Still have to laugh when recruits say they are going to "Shock the World" with their decisions and 9 out of 10 times end up going where everyone who follows recruiting expected them to go. It's almost a given he was NCSU bound after that statement. LOL
Good luck to him and congrats to NCSU fans on the get.

This was always NC State's to lose. Great job by the staff. With Otto and Greg, though, we're good. Hope we land Upshaw, and then Troy in 13..

What a class for State. Congrats to them and their fans. Purvis and TJ will be fun to watch. State fans have seen a lot of misery. Happy for them right now

It seems like we have a good shot at TROY -- and plenty of excellent kids to play the 3 between now and then. However, I have NO idea where we stand with Upshaw, or some other BIG guy for BIG MAN U.

Guhoyas,
Keep in mind that TJ grew up 15 miles from the NC State campus and that his father played there, and most of his family is down there.
I understand where ur coming from. But some things, you pretty much can't overcome

They were very much dumb for running Sendek off...But Pack fans didn't deserve the mess that Valvano and his meat market style of recruiting left.
It rankles me to this day that ESPN has turned that guy into a saint. He was one of the all-time cheaters in this sport, and he cared nothing about his players

He was one of the all-time cheaters in this sport, and he cared nothing about his players 100% true--but you could argue same thing about Norm Sloan when he brought them their championship in '74 (might be off a year or two--wasn't even born yet though so give me pass). NCSU's 2 title teams came under guys who put them on probation.
