It's a lot of goings-on at Alabama. I wish this young man much success wherever he choose to continue his education and basketball goal

This is an extremely sad situation. If he conspired to kidnap a child, then I very much hope he does NOT stay out of prison.

Davonta will learn that life is full of life changing experiences. As I said before, I trust that this young man move on with his life and pursue his goals, be grateful for those that wish him well and the hell with those that wish for his demise.

Take a breath Nashville. I don't think anyone wishes for his "demise" unless he had something to do with the whole mess. If he didn't, no one wants it to negatively impact his career. If he did, that is different. Obviously no one knows at this point that he did anything wrong - but speculation and the Internet are constant companions.

This kid is his mother's pawn. He needs help. If he ends up in prison, so be it, but I think he's as much a victim as the kid. I know that makes me sound like a bleeding heart, but in this case I'll wear that mantle until facts come to light to prove me wrong.

I'd take a look at him if I were GU. He needs to get out of the South. See something different. GU, become his family. Bring positivity into his life. Kentucky is recruiting him?

Not sure he really fills a need right now. We have people better than him at his positions.

Trawick and Peak can play the 3 if we go small. Copeland can play the 3/4. White can play the 3/4. Bringing in Pollard takes away minutes from Peak/White/Copeland/Trawick/Peak. Not to mention the fact that he cannot shoot the 3 pointer. He was 2-16 from behind the arc at Alabama and didn't take a single three at his JC. stats.njcaa.org/sports/mbkb/2013-14/div1/players/devontapollardpm0u

Waste of scholarship for us if we offer, IMO.

No offense, but "involved in kidnapping a kid for ransom" doesn't rate high enough to raise a red flag? At what point do you not look at someone? Rape? Murder?
