Who is this kid? Supposed to be any good? Depends on whether or not he signs with Georgetown

Maybe because Otto and Whitt will be starting at his positions and he would have to come off the bench? Unless Nate improves his offensive game and quickness on defense then the starting 4 will be Otto. Greg played more at the 2 last year then he did at the 3 so if he starts, he starts at the 2. Therefore Devonta would eventually start at the 3 if not right away. No way in the world that's gonna happen even if he comes. Although Otto is capapble of playing 4, JT3 will not bench Nate. But as I have been saying for months, this kid is not coming here and even if he comes, I don't see him finding much of a success.

But regardless, Nate or Mikael will start at the 4 and Otto at the 3 with Greg splitting minutes equally between the 2 and 3....I don't know which team you watch but where are Pollard's minutes coming from?

Pollard would take all of Nate's minutes and many of what would be DSR minutes (we would play a big lineup, he wouldn't actually play DSR's position). He would start right away. But it doesn't matter, we all know why.

Feel like I've said it before, but a line up of
Greg at the 2 Devonta at the 3 and Otto at the 4
would just be awesome.

LOL at any scenario where people are honestly asking where minutes for Pollard would come from.
If he commits, he'll play a lot.

Pollard or not this will be a very good team. I believe that Pollard want to go where he will become an immediate starter. That want happen at Georgetown or Alabama. Other than Starks ans Porter all the other starters are up for grabs. The competition will make this an aggresive and competitive team...... Go Hoyas!!!

That being said, he may not be overly skilled (a premium for our offense) and to discuss any PT is simply not absurd, so LOL all you want.

We're discussing the difference between starters minutes (around 30-35) versus playing an important role player's minutes (around 15-25) in case you can't read between the lines.

Nate begs to differ about how much starters minutes actually are, and Otto would do the same for role players. That being said, wait till Friday before we decide if we should hang his jersey in the rafters.

Nate Lubick starts game 1 next season - only way that doesn't happen is if he is off the team - he will dominate next season and I will love to repost all these silly ideas - pah-leez!

The guy who played the most minutes off the bench of ANYONE in the nation and the guy that played something like the sixth least minutes as a starter.

On the bright side, a 6 PM Friday announcement seems like when a company would try to announce bad news to have it buried in the weekend, so it seems like the exact time a Georgetown-bound recruit would announce.

how come the main page Friday Update doesn't even mention 6 PM? If I had to guess, I would say it's because Pollard's potential recruitment isn't huge news until he actually commits. There are tons of recruits that list Georgetown and don't choose us, so it would get crowded to list them all. Granted, Pollard has been a top target for a long time and it's a slow news time, but I am guessing that's the reason. Even throughout the Noel saga, he only made the front page once, and that was after his decision was made.

Just read a report indicating that there will be a 5th hat (for LSU) up on the stage with him. After all the news saying that he was still choosing between 4 schools (GTown, Bama, Texas and Mizzou), it seems like Kirby managed to get in there after all.
Can't imagine he won't pick LSU given that he's chosen to put their hat up there after denying they were part of his final list.

Pollard to LSU it would seem with their hat being up there. Sheesh. Ugh so frustrating.
