Frustrating because it seems like if Kirby had stayed there's a good chance pollard would've landed at Georgetown. If he want for say Bama then it's just oh well he wanted to stay local no big deal.

Saw on twitter that there is no LSU hat. Always leaves room for the 'surprise' LSU haircut, t-shirt, etc.

He's also wearing a bowtie. No way he covers that up with a shirt

Between this recruitment and Noel's -- just about polar opposites, but still -- I'm wishing I followed recruiting less closely. Always such a fiasco.

LSU would have felt like a punch to the gut.

Grant needed some offensive spark and now he's got it. after the defections and banishing, they needed to retool quickly. I've heard others may leave as well.

Even though it's Bama, I still feel that he would have attended GU had Kirby stayed. I sincerely believe that was the reason for the LONG delay after his visit to The Hilltop.

best of luck, Devonta. You'll get plenty of PT with a coach who really needs to prove something this season.

Good luck to him - if he's only going to be in school for two years, he probably made the best decision for him and he did it in a classy manner without a lot of stupid theatrics.

Congratulations and much success at Bama. He will be playing for an outstanding young coach determined to return Alabama basketball to the CM Newton and Wimp Sanderson years.
