In terms of RPI, ODU might end up being our best road win of the season. What's great too, is that ODU plays Missouri in a couple of weeks, which is basically win-win-win for us.

Honestly, ODU is becoming one of my favorite rivalries (if it's reached the level of "rivalry" yet). It's obviously behind Cuse and Duke, and probably UConn and Nova. But it's a different sort of rivalry b/c we all so strongly dislike those four. ODU always ends up being a team that (a) gives us an entertaining game, (b) tests our team early, and then (c) goes on to have a strong season, so it's good for our numbers. Everything about that series is a win for us, and I also think it's nice that they appreciate (or at least their commentators expressed appreciation for) a high major team setting up home-and-home series with them.

Florida loses to UCF, Ticket (20 points on 10-11 shooting) is the only one playing even halfway decent.
Gators stink!

For those that enjoy NBA calibur highlights that you'll NEVER see on ESPN, watch this clip and enjoy! Bazemore's dunk at the -1:45 mark is one of the greatest dunks if not THE greatest dunk I've ever witnessed in person (granted I've never been to an NBA game) but it brought the house down. That guy was completely posterized. And he committed the foul. Enjoy. www.wvec.com/video?id=111166364&sec=554172That was nice. Keep it up!

Florida loses to UCF, Ticket (20 points on 10-11 shooting) is the only one playing even halfway decent. Gators stink! Donovan was more comfortable with true team players than with the Boynton-types. He's called them out. Let's see how it turns out. From ESPN.com: "After Wednesday's loss to unranked UCF, Billy Donovan took aim again. Donovan has been publicly harsh about his team's poor play early this season, but he took his criticism to its furthest extent after the Gators lost to Central Florida on Wednesday. ... Donovan was so disgusted with the way his team played that when he was asked about a late opportunity to tie the game, he said, "we didn't even deserve to be in that position." He went on to add, "Our issues are bigger than this loss." Donovan pinpointed what he believes is the problem in his postgame press conference: selfishness. "We have, I think, a group of guys ... that are way, way too wrapped up in their offense," he said, referring mainly to his perimeter players and going on to single out guards Kenny Boynton and Erving Walker. The Palm Beach Post" Over at Duke, after Irving's scoring outburst and the national media's slurping, will Coach K see a battle of egos among his guards? Will Kyle be comfortable with a ballhog? Irving's leaving after one year, but then comes Austin Rivers.
