Is this guy someone who knows what he's writing about, or does he just blow smoke out of his butt? If you are asking about Krukster, he is quite knowledgeable about this stuff, and is also a big Hoya fan. If he posts something, you can be sure there is substance behind it. That said, no one knows when a kid might change his mind for whatever reason. No guarantees until the recruit signs on the dotted line. Was asking about Borzello, not Krukster. I have no reason to criticize Krukster - should have made that more clear, I guess. And of course, we know as well as anyone that nothing is certain until the LOI is signed, and sometimes not even then.

Thanks SirSaxa , I appreciate that. Although I believe Rooter was talking about this:
From Jeff Borzello: "Nate Britt is a top-10 guy in the class, not that far behind Andrew Harrison in the point guard rankings, but Maryland isn’t getting him. He’s a heavy Georgetown lean, with Duke (and maybe UNC) as the other team who could seriously threaten for him."
As for Britt , plenty of time left before this recruitment shakes out. Hoyas have offered and he likes the program (grew up a fan) , MD just offered (although they are chasing the Harrison twins heavy) and Duke has been in the picture for awhile. Since he had a great showing so far this spring/summer , expect a ton of schools to join in the race. At the end of the day , I say ACC or Big East.

Borzello goes to as many events and games as he can, from what I can tell. And he was just hired by CBS to do their Recruiting stuff. His analysis is pretty good, dont know about his predictions on this kind of thing. His fashion choices, though, do suck haha

This kid can play. A lot of these highlights are against pretty good competition too.

Yes, kid is a stud! He really is a perfect player for JTIII's offense with his ability to control the game with the bounce and pass to cutters, get into the lane and draw and dish to bigs, cutters and outside shooters. He also finishes inside on drives and receiving passes himself off of cuts. Seems really poised for such a young player and has a sweeet stroke from the outside.
Everyone's talking about the kind of players we need, long and athletic, (and I agree) but what we really need is "straight up ballers" and that's what this kid is. He'll be one of the top recruits in '13 and he happens to be local and likes the program, he in my opinion should be our #1 or #1a priority for that class. LOVE THIS KID!

Listen to Bronxitos ahora and believe the god next Wednesday.....after watching this tape the kid is good. BUT he is the same Chris Wright lack of explosion at the goal. His high school videos look a lot like what I saw from Tony Starks in high school. We need long runners and jumpers who can defend the ball. Not sure he is the answer. I also do not like his body type as much as SEMAJITOS. Yes I would take him but prefer explosive athleticism like Semajitos.

This kid can play. A lot of these highlights are against pretty good competition too. is he left handed or right handed? He shoots lefty but looked like he had no problem driving with his right. id, if that was a 2013 class, that would be one for the ages.

Was going to say the same. For a lefty, he's VERY strong with the right hand.

I have no desire to step into the maelstrom on Britt's talent (which seems to be undeniable, whichever number of stars or type of player you see), or to even try to add to the debate in another thread on how to tell whether a local recruit truly wants to stay local with Georgetown, but I ask, how can JT III not try to recruit Britt given that he may be one of the best players Gonzaga HS has ever had (and that JT III is a Gonzaga graduate and fan), even if he might lean to Duke or UNC? We will get beat for players by those schools not infrequently, but if you want to be top nationally, it seems you can't give up on every potential loss there.
I guess AAU ball has so replaced high school ball that the shared bond between JT III and Britt at Gonzaga does not mean that much, but at least you would think it might generate some honesty on the potential match.

Bronxie: I love you and what you bring to the board.
You're dead wrong about Britt....that kid is better than Christon now, and he's two years younger. He gets all the way to the cup, he has a mid-range game, he's left-handed and he has a jimmy out to three-point land. No way we can't recruit him all the way to his commit date. Dude's a beast

I'm with Bronxie on this one. Every year there is a recruit that I want more than the others and this coming year it's Semaj. Last year it was Otto and Mychal Henry. The year befor it was Roscoe. A kid can develop a J if he puts in the work but elite athleticism can not be developed.......................
Not sold on Kyle really coming to the Hilltop......................

My gut tells me if we wanted semaj we could have had him. Britt would hands down be the best guard we've had since AI. If britt is really in fact interested in being a Hoya and wants to play immediately... I don't see this kid sitting behind Starks waiting his turn. Cross that bridge later.

I agree with most of what you say, but of all the top prospects listing GU the one you want the most is Christon? Not even Anderson or Drummond (as unlikely as that last one seems). I think with the Myles Davis situation we should've learned that even though a school is your dream school going up an offer from them isnt usually the end-all. Prospects dont just go to the school they rooted for growing up, if that were the case then there would be no point to recruiting . Idk much more than you do, but maybe Christon wants in maybe he doesn't? Nobody knows but him, not even necessarily his parents.
