Actually old for his age! Hardwood, what do you mean by "old for his age"? Old for his grade or mature for his age?

Actually old for his age! Hardwood, what do you mean by "old for his age"? Old for his grade or mature for his age? From a Washington Examiner article last year: When Gonzaga's 6-foot-1 guard Nate Britt charged into the lane against DeMatha's 6-foot-8 Mikael Hopkins and scored on a slick spin move, Purple Eagles' fans boasted, "He's a sophomore. He's a sophomore." So DeMatha fans answered, "He's 18. He's 18."

If he's 18 then why is he still playing 17u AAU ball. Why did he play 15U AAU ball two years ago?

My friend, Danny Almonte, agrees with sleepyjackson21.

there is no such thing as u-16, u-17 anymore in AAU it is all grade related with a maximum age restriction. I believe for Britt the tenth grade requirements would be to be a soph as of the fall of 2010 and be no older than 18 on sept 1st. now i believe that most non elite AAU players who where rising juniors would be playing under the old system as a U-15 with the more elite playing up a level or 2.

Rivals update :
"I would like to stay closer to home, because I would like my parents to have an easy trip to come see me and stuff like that. But whatever is the best situation," he said.
Also noted Georgetown and Villanova were the two teams he's rooted for growing up.

How can you root for both GU and Evilnova, lol. That's like being a fan of both the Redskins and the Cowboys, sacrilege. As good as this kid is, I wouldn't care if he was a Syracuse fan as long as he decides to matriculate at Georgetown. Go get 'em JTIII!

He said he's always been a Hoya fan since he was little and that was his team in the area--and he liked the guard oriented Nova team of Foye, Ray, Nardi, etc....at Nova.

Of course I was just kidding, I love this kid in every aspect and hopes he becomes a Hoya.

From Jeff Borzello: "Nate Britt is a top-10 guy in the class, not that far behind Andrew Harrison in the point guard rankings, but Maryland isn’t getting him. He’s a heavy Georgetown lean, with Duke (and maybe UNC) as the other team who could seriously threaten for him." baltimoresportsandlife.com/?p=2600

Is this guy someone who knows what he's writing about, or does he just blow smoke out of his butt?

Is this guy someone who knows what he's writing about, or does he just blow smoke out of his butt? If you are asking about Krukster, he is quite knowledgeable about this stuff, and is also a big Hoya fan. If he posts something, you can be sure there is substance behind it. That said, no one knows when a kid might change his mind for whatever reason. No guarantees until the recruit signs on the dotted line.
