Coincidentally enough, Bolden/Quality Education Academy have a couple games this week-end in DC in a fairly high profile national tourney. Some details below on this link (last para mentions QEA/Bolden). Will leave to others finding out particulars re: game times, etc. Hopefully some of the Faithful cogenescenti can check him out doing something and report back (as opposed to doing nothing on the court, or bench for that matter). www.ihigh.com/planetathlete/article_109125.htmlThanks for finding/sharing this Hoyajmw. I'll point out I'd go to event to see Andrew Wiggins--he's the #1 prospect in '14 class and one of the most talented players you'll ever see. Game that Bolden's team plays in--they are facing a team who has a PG that has mentioned Hoyas are showing interest and recently re-classified to '12 class--Kaza Keane. He's teammates with Torian Graham.

Ender Wiggins plays basketball? He's short, but he's one tough sumbitch.

You're welcome, RDF -- and glad hoyazeke asked the question about whether the season was over that got me curious . . . I have tried in vain to find specific game times, but all I've come up with is that it actually starts TODAY/3PM at the Washington Trinity Center/DC, 2:30 Saturday and noon Sunday -- if those start times on the link below for use of the Center at to be believed. (Some proof they are: saw a tweet by an organizer about an hour ago saying "it's on in 45 minutes" which would synch to the posted 3pm start). If anyone goes/finds out when games of interest Sunday early might be especially, please post -- the right game(s) might make a nice appetizer before the WCAC semis/4:30 at Bender arena . . www.trinitydc.edu/trinity-center/upcoming-recent-events/

RDF... is Wiggins open? Or is he thinking UK/FSU? It's early and so much can change--but Kentucky and FSU (as long as Hamilton is there) are in good shape. Kentucky's recruiting him as hard as a lot of teams are recruiting '12 guys right now. UNC will be in mix as well.

I finally found a clip of brandon bolden the basketball player on youtube. He has the #5 top play for January/February in this clip. Looks tall and athletic.....cant really assess anything about his game but its the only video ive ever seen of this kid. Hope he works hard over his years on the hilltop cuz it seems like he's got a decent frame.

no, Bolden has dreads. Jeff had cornrows. Slight difference.

Does anyone have access to Bolden's stats from recent games? I remember a few weeks ago, some people were saying that Bolden wasn't even playing. Obviously, given this video, he's at least playing a little bit.

He has a nice frame but I do not love his gait. I need to see more.

In my whole time following college bball, I have never seen a major recruit like this that has absolutely zero stories or zero stats regarding his season...

Bolden is also in this footage. It's a pickup game, so we shouldn't put too much stock in it, but hey, at least we get to see the kid run around. Grey t-shirt, navy shorts (wonder where he got those).

Unfortunate that he's standing there doing literally nothing the whole video.

Give me a break guys. That is an old video, at his old school, made to showcase another kid - in a pickup game.
Bolden will surprise. Not saying he will be great, but he has played against the best bigs in the class and held his own on multiple occasions.

How is it in this day and age that there seems to be such a complete dearth of information out there about this kid? I don't follow HS ball or the whole recruiting process closely, but it seems that in essentially any other case, there's far more information available about a prospect.
