He has a vivid imagination! No, I mean literally, I don't understand the connection. Is he saying that because Shavlik Randolph was in a video detailing a blocking foul, the officials called more of those on Randolph and Duke, therefore losing them a tournament game and the NCAA title?

yes, that is exactly what they argue. In particular, there's one foul on randolph that they were extremely frustrated about, it seems.

Wow, that's absolutely incredible. Just awesome.
That's (obviously) what I thought, but then I thought, no one could be that delusional / moronic.

Regardless of who you ask, I'm assuming "Shav" was actually in the game when they called him for the foul? You know, as opposed to, say, on the bench sitting a few rows in front of someone in a Steelers jacket?

Back to Adams, I would take him if he wants to come. Make him aware of what could be coming our way in '12 and '13 and what we have. Use the Coach K approach on him (and Duke) and load up with talent. It works itself out. That said, don't mess with Carmelo's scholarship.

Any idea where this is all going, whether there will be a decommit, a time schedule, etc.? Or is silence good for the moment since it was our MM he attended?

Adams appears to have called Nate James (Duke assistant) and decommitted.

Lets close the deal...Pretty amazing we have a chance for a top 20 class for 2011 after the start to the '11 recruiting season we had. I have to admit I was definitely panicking.

Some guy on DBR is claiming that a rivals article suggests we might be backing off (though I wonder if the guy just doesn't understand the use of the word 'distancing'). The coaching staff obviously knows best but it'd be hard to pass on a top 70 ranked center who could be a bull in the paint (even though the duke to gtown switch will cost him the obligatory 20 spots in the rsci rankings).
Adams - Hopkins - Trawick would be an awesome class and would continue us on the old school defense/boards mentality that last year's class seemed to kick off.

that guy is wrong. It's distancing in a positive sense for the Hoyas.

that guy is wrong. It's distancing in a positive sense for the Hoyas. That's what I figured. The potential frontcourt depth for next year is staggering: Nate Ayegba Adams Hopkins Sims Jerelle It's hard not to see at least 3/4 BE quality big men from that group in 2011-12.

Add in Bolden, Ochefu and a SF for 2012 and GU has as much depth and talent as anyone in the country.
Realistically for 2011, I see Nate, Hop and Adams getting major run. Not sure about Moses, JB and well Henry will be Henry.

To answer all the questions: No, Tyler Adams won't decommit to recommit. He won't be at Duke. He said GTown has (cont) tl.gd/6m9146

Full text: To answer all the questions: No, Tyler Adams won't decommit to recommit. He won't be at Duke. He said GTown has a slight lead right now and that he kinda knows where he's headed. Context clues from our convo tell me he ends up a Hoya.

Is M$U our only competition for him? Will Hood's decision have any impact?

Is M$U our only competition for him? Will Hood's decision have any impact? It could--but he did commit seperate from Rodney before--so he's not afraid to make his own decision.
