Tyler Adams told me: "I really like Georgetown. I mean they put a lot of big men in the league so it's hard not to look at them."

Hopefully he follows through on that statement about Tyler just like he followed through on his statement that he was coming to Georgetown for MM.

Rodney, haven't you created enough of a circus-like atmosphere? Someone get Leonsis on the horn to convince Verizon to cut service in MS from this afternoon through Adams' commitment.

Let's not get too carried away. It is not like anyone was counting on Adams before this past couple of weeks. This is not the Christmas situation, nor even Rodney Hood's situation. Adams would be a major, unexpected surprise if he comes.

Adams would be a major, unexpected surprise if he comes. Sure, it's not like we thought he was gonna fall into our lap when Roc ended up at SUcks (or ever), but when he decommits from the national champion, shows up at our MM, it would be hard to call it a surprise now. But I know what you mean. And after quotes like "I mean they put a lot of big men in the league so it's hard not to look at them," it would be hard not to call it a disappointment if he doesn't show. Would be great to add a back to the basket/put you on your @$$ big to Hopkins and Trawick. How much does $tansbury have to offer?

Yeah I have to agree, certainly not counting on this happening, but the signs are definitely pointing in our favor, so there has to be some disappointment if he goes elsewhere.

If some people don't like the word surprising, then it certainly would be strange for him not to come after all the comments/developments since MM. Seems like a good guy to fill out the 2011 class--whether we take one more or save it for 2012......it would be a VERY solid class.

According to Evan Daniels at the Scout Recruiting Forum:
"He has some academic issues. So it'll be interesting to see how this plays out."

"Floor-Slapping Plumlees" - isn't that the name of that new indie band out in Seattle?

I heard Tyler reached out to Maryland but Gary had to stay away because he couldn't get into the Harvard of the Mid-Atlantic.

I though Harvard was the College Park of the Ivies.

Mmmmm no, PG County has a community college. More like the Harvard of 38‹ 59Œ 17 N, 76‹ 56Œ 41 W.

That seems a bit harsh. Maybe just the Brown of PG County, with the CC being the Harvard.
