Agreed. As stated earlier in this thread, he seems to have an uncommon skill set. Very exciting!

Like to see him play some defense in clips from the capita; hoops camp he appeared disintrested in even attempting to make an effort. Still young and a chance to develop but would like to see more of a killer instinct.. Still not sold on him signing here in the fall. but we will see.

Have to agree that this kid has some serious finishing skills. Especially like the already developed ability to finish with his left hand. Also like that he blocks shots with his left hand which will enhance his shotblocking ability. Since we have not heard anything about a conditional offer on the part of Georgetown, i.e. (must get grades in order first), then what would keep this kid from signing in the fall? Besides, wasn't one of the reasons Abraham chose Georgetown was that he could play with his old teammate Goodman? I like Hollis' potential to develope an ability to get to the basket in traffic with the dribble, but this kid ,at 6'8" ,already has it and looks like he has a pretty decent 3pt shot also.

If Hollis tightens up his handle a little he can play some 2 like David Wingate. You could be looking at a potential starting line up of Abraham (6'9), Lubick (6'9"), Goodman (6'8"), Hollis (6'7") and Starks (6'1"?). That's some West Virginia length.

From Scout's coverage of King James Camp:
Jordan Goodman, PF/SF, DC Assault – There’s no question this Georgetown commit has some serious talent. At 6-foot-7, Goodman is mobile, athletic and versatile. The combo forward can shoot to the three-point stripe and is also a threat in transition and on the glass. The Hoyas locked up a good one.

Thanks, Tony. No question there's basketball talent there, but we need Jordan to be as focused in the classroom. We can't afford another Braswellian situation.

DMV Dave is rumored to be hot after one of the Memphis openings--for the 3rd year in a row.

Is GT on him? Is GT mentioned as in the running?

What a train wreck. I feel a bit bad for a kid like this because the advice he is getting must be garbage.

Not sure it would make sense to get involved with him anyways. What does he add that Otto and Greg don't?

Not sure it would make sense to get involved with him anyways. What does he add that Otto and Greg don't? He plays hard to get, that automatically makes him so much more desirable! Reclassifying from 2011 to 2012, decommitting from two schools, anyone want to wager whether he'll transfer in 2013 or 2014? We are probably looking at another 26-year old senior somewhere, unless he says screw college and goes to play in Europe.

Apparently Jordan will end up with Billy Gillespie at TT. Seems appropriate.

Apparently Jordan will end up with Billy Gillespie at TT. Seems appropriate. Hope for his sake he does end up there--have my doubts. Also disturbed that one of the things seen as "improving his perception" was mentioned by his HS Coach--and that was cutting his hair. WTF does cutting your hair have to do with being a good kid? Nobody has said Goodman was a bad kid--just had some grade issues/school issues which many people have-good and bad. He has had a tough childhood with car accident, loss of his mother and from watching him play--he's a very nice kid--just didn't play to a high level-which is the least of importance and of no importance in whether someone is a good person or not. Then again ACD was the feeder for Huggins/Frank Martin and the type of judgement and commentary isn't shocking. Guess Bob and his "short hair" are good people when he gets into his annual ritual of "falling down" or "tripping" after an allnight bender in Vegas later this month--as has happened the past 2 Summer Evaluation periods.

Looking back at blueandgray's post from March 29, 2010, I agree - the kid has bounce.
