1) ah thanks for clearing up 2011/2012. 2) as long as he can be freshman year Dajuan and not later Dajuan. If he's just going to be a tall jump shooter I hope we don't have to count on him for anything more than that.

This is the "type" of player we need. Remains to be seen how good this kid will be at Gtown. But welcome to the Hilltop Jordan!

Could be brandon bowman. Long, athletic but a better shooter.

I like the dreads. Makes me think the guy has a little attitude and swagger. Our current team could use some of that. But yeah, hope he's a good player too. I totally agree. The first video posted over on page one makes me think that there's NO play that won't end with this kid show-boating. And to be honest, if he makes the plays, then good for him. Keep it up. We do need some of this kind of confidence.

If Goodman ever makes it to Georgetown, I like the pickup. He's a taller perimeter player and has a lot of talent. I'd love to see a class of he/Amile Jefferson come in together.
Get bigger/more athletic.

Get bigger/more athletic. Absolutely agree with that. I am sure JT3 does too.

Goodman can stroke it from deep in the highlights I have seen. Blocks some shots too. Do not sleep on this kid.

Hope he does make it--I've loved his game/potential based on what I've seen and think he's perfect fit for the program--tall/skilled. The "if" has more to do with is constant moving around from school to school and worried about transcripts/qualifying. Just fear this could be a Chris Braswell situation. Again--my hopes are Jordan gets somewhere and focuses on qualifying because his game got him a spot at Georgetown that is being "held". So while AAU ball is important--he's got to focus on qualifying on Standardized Tests, and finding a school to end his last 2 years in HS/Prep.

Maybe Goodman will turn out like Ewing Jr. for us. He was just so immportant to the team, and if this years team had a player like PE, Jr. We would have been Top 5 all season and BE champs. His versitility, energy, defense, passing, and shot-blocking ability from the SF/PF position hasn't been replaced.

Goodman is more like a poor man's Kevin Durant--he likes to play on perimeter and facing--and is about same size, has a great jumpshot. He's one of those guys you definately take a shot with because if he "figures it out"--he's a superstar who can carry a team. If not--he'll still be a valuable contributor due to his length, skill set, and shooting ability.

Like most HS kids--not where it should be--but he'll block some shots and is long. He's the typical HS TALL wing player-he loves to play outside on offense, but thinks he's a shot blocker on defense--and needs to work on that aspect of his game--but it'll get better when he gets to college. No different then most kids who aren't shot blocking bigs.

Plus you take a flyer cause he's got a couple of years to "figure it out".

Still think Jordan Goodman has the most upside of all of our current commits. Wouldn't be surprised if he blows up this summer with DC Assault running with Quinn Cook.
Here is some more footage of him. His highlights start at the 4:30 mark. Most 6'8 sophomores can't do this stuff (handle, finish with both hands, bomb 3's, etc.).

He does indeed look good. Love his body control on one of those drives (reminded me of Austin's body control driving into the paint). Shooting mechanics need work. Let's hope he makes it to the Hilltop.
