Yes, and Bowen is the type of player you need to round out the rotation for four years.

I don't see any way we would take 2 bigs in this class. I'm hoping Moses commits very soon.
I don't think he has a 40 inch vertical leap but I've seen him play and he has a knack for blocking shots. Granted, I've never seen Reddic play but from what I've seen, he isn't as filled out as Moses and I don't think he will be as strong a defensive force at the college level. Moses is a project, but both of them are.
Moses is the man for the Hoyas. I hope he watched today.

I think Moses is the first option. I am hoping he commits Sunday, and that we have a great day all-around!

I could see us taking 2 if Greg is definitely gone. But even then, I'm not sure we would. If we get Moses or Redic or whomever, we have four bigs next year even without Greg. Problem is, three of them are unproven.

Agreed. Next years bigs will be looked to for defense & rebounding for the most part. The guards & wings will pick up Greg's offensive shots. (Assuming he goes)
Moses would be a big help in that regard, in my opinion.

I haven't really seen nate Lubick play, but does anyone think he can fill the "jeff green" or "greg monroe" type of role of being a distributor on the post?

Completely disagree with ID on this--Lubick's best asset is his court vision/passing. He's a great passer/sees the floor and fits in. He's not the player that Jeff/Greg were--but he's going to be a different type of player because in terms of finishing around rim, Lubick enters superior then Greg-because he goes up to rip the rim down.
Lubick will shine next to big time frontcourt teammates. He'd also be the perfect sidekick for Monroe--as they'd pass back and forth and he finishes everything strong.
Nate needs to work on his jumpshot and handles--but passing wise--he's already advanced enough to play in this system.

completely agree with RDF there. The best thing about Nate is that he's a bulldog, he's big, he's athletic and he finishes. With or without Greg, next season will be III's deepest and most talented team

Agree with RDF. Let's not put limits on the potential of the young man so quickly. And, let's hope Nate has some big-time front court teammates to play along side of the next few years!

Well, I think id and RDF probably agree. Nate has excellent vision from everything I've seen, but I haven't heard anyone put him near Greg.
If he approached Jeff on that count, I'd be happy.
I'm estatic that he's a bulldog type. Jeff had that rep in HS, too, though they called him a "warrior."

From what I saw Lubick looks like a Corliss Williamson, Mike Sweetney type. Not saying he will be as good as them but he looks to be in that mode. A rugged 4 man.

That arkansas team with Scotty Thurman and Corliss was pretty sick back in the 90's. I remember them beating gtown in the second round. That was the "40 minutes of hell" era for arkansas bball.
I like the sound of Lubick...can't wait for him to produce as a hoya
