For those who've seen him, does he have the skills to potentially play the 3?
Can he handle/pass well?

At least initially, the 3 will be a problem on both ends of the floor; couldn't guard a 3 for sure (just too slow), but of course there are ways around that in terms of assignments/schemes. Offensively, the issue will be handle -- doesn't really have it (or at least never tries to show it from the limited amount I've seen him -- three times -- this year). On the other hand, he has really good passing instincts/ability; in the first game I saw (albeit against a woe-be-gone Bishop Ireton) he was VERY crsip with perimeter to interior passes/thought he was a really good fit for our system based on that. Has also has shown a nice, smooth shot to about 15-18 feet -- but mostly on spot-up jumpers, nothing where he is on the move and really having to work to get a shot. I think developing the handle will be the real issue -- but could see him playing some at the start as a trigger guy at the top of the key/taking a couple steps and mid-range jumpers, and then see how his ball-handling skills progress (maybe a taller Jeff Green -- not to jinx him with that level of expectation -- but likely perhaps more like a Billy Lynn, for you old-timers).

I could see him as the high in the high-low.

Problem with Hopkins--he doesn't have outside game to play SF, and what he does best is near hoop--but he doesn't like to mix it up enough on a consistent basis. So you have a PF size/skill wise who can be effective at High post as a passer-but he's defensively a 4--with rebounding/shot blocking--and Hoyas are in need of playmaking stud athletes with versatility at SF/SG--and Hopkins isn't the option there--they need more fluid players who are legit skilled guys.
Hopkins upside/potential was his calling card as a Soph. It still is as a SR. Eventually upside/potential go from complimentary terms to negative about why a player hasn't done anything.

Anya's athleticism is nowhere near Blair's. He's got some bulk but I don't know if it will translate well without the lift, which I haven't seen. I could see him being a lot like Julian as a college player.
He also isn't Onuaku's height yet. If he grows to 6'10-11", it's different, but right now I'm not sure he's going to translate spectacularly.

He's got a couple years to get rid of baby fat and develop his skills set. His footwork is already good. He finishes at the rim. He doesn't try to be what he's not.
