All of our players face up.
He'll either play as a Jeff Green center or a Jeff Green four. Offensively, there ain't much difference. Some down low, some face up, all over the court.
Honestly, the Georgetown "Jeff Green role" is probably the best developmental position in college basketball because of the variety of skills it develops.

At the next level, there is no doubt he is a 4. I think it will depends on who he plays with. Rak runs the floor very well, good rebounder and shot blocker. He is working on improving his outside shot right now. Offensively, he should concentrate on the 12-15 footer, finishing close to the basket, FTs and a little hook wouldn't hurt.

Agreed, I also feel like the Georgetown "J.Wallace role" (now Clark's) is one of the best ways for guards to develop not only their shooting but especially their decision making. Or maybe just JTIII is a great coach

yeah i was confused when scout labeled it a surprise visit. Now drifting into creep stalking territory. Based on his tweets he seemed to have a really good time and a lot of fun with the oklahoma team.

Yep. Its been Oklahoma, Texas, FIU, Florida and Georgetown. As disappointed as many of us are regarding the Hoyas' play in February, Gtown has had the best season of all five teams.

I mean they took him bowling, I think we can compete with that.
On the plus side he didn't seem to pleased with his actual trip with getting stuck by the toilets on the plane and having an hour lay over. hopefully he'll want to stay closer to home. We're the closest school to his home, so that may help.

I'm sure most recruits have fun on most of their trips. What's the big deal?

Of course, it's still possible that Texas could end up with a better outcome this season than we do, but they've spiralled down worse than we have, so it probably isn't likely.

Well I saw some of the game he went to--and if there were 3500 people in attendance, I'd be shocked. NOBODY was there, it was horrible basketball, and Oklahoma got killed.

Haven't followed Oklahoma this year, other than knowing that they've been a disappointment. Has Tiny Gallon done anything? I haven't heard much about him.
Would think the Green/Hibbert/Monroe experience would be easy to sell compared to Capel's big man development. Besides Blake Griffin, has Capel put any big men in the pros?

Willie Warren was supposed to be Oklahoma's best player. He struggled early on, then got hurt and was lost for the season.

I'm asking out of ignorance but would landing Moses knock us out of the running for Rakeem?
Surely there is barely any chance that Greg is still here in 2011-12 but if everyone stays would a Henry/Jerelle/Moses/Lubick front court be too crowded for a blue chipper?
