I'm asking out of ignorance but would landing Moses knock us out of the running for Rakeem? Surely there is barely any chance that Greg is still here in 2011-12 but if everyone stays would a Henry/Jerelle/Moses/Lubick front court be too crowded for a blue chipper? From what I understand, Rak is the #1 center in his class. You always have room for a guy like that.

Rakeem and Moses would look great playing next to each other.

The length on the front line would be sick.

Start Christmas and Lubick.....bring Moses off the bench to spell either, then have Jerelle and Henry as additional depth........sounds good to me!! Obviously, those names could be switched around a little depending on who develops quicker, but I'm just going by the level of hype around each recruit and what I know about current guys.

The good news is that Jerelle as shown flashes of SF type abilities, it would definitely help his minutes in the coming years if he works on his range and handles so he can play the 3/4. Henry has also shown some great flashes and I can't help but believe that he WILL develop, as he is very young right now. I can see Henry coming in before Moses (since Mo is a bit more of a project and Henry will be a Sr!) I have to wonder if we will play a little more zone since Henry has shown that he can anchor the middle and we are getting some good length all over the court. Maybe we might even play a big lineup like 2007!

Jerelle is a small forward. That's the position he can be a plus at instead of a stopgap. He didn't have the size or game to really play PF.

I said this earlier in the season. If Beenie Man works on his jumper and footwork he can be Draymond Green. Green is the same size and build, but has a high hoops IQ and can stroke the 15-footer in.

you think they would at least compare two players that play the same position.

From Scout's Evan Daniels at the EYBL event in Los Angeles:
"Known as one of the best post prospects in the country, Christmas lived up to his stature on Sunday. A 6-foot-9 big man, Christmas is a terrific post defender equipped with tremendous athleticism and length. He’s got great timing and seems to contest everything. Offensively he’s underrated and showed off a nice right jump hook and was aggressive when he got the ball in the post."

From ESPN - Day 1 at Amare Camp. Rakeem Christmas 2011 PF, 6-9, 230 Bryan Athyn, Penn./Academy New Church Boys "Christmas grabbed everyone's attention in the drills with his great length, ability to run the floor and explosiveness around the basket. His footwork, hands and touch are pretty good as he continues to develop his skills. Although he needs to add strength, his overall talent and ability to be an immediate impact player at the college level are undeniable." sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/basketball/mens/news/story?id=5327341

Scout's Scott Phillips from Nike Skills Academy:
"Rakeem Christmas, C – The athleticism that Christmas has showed through in a big way during the Amar’e session. Gliding up the floor with ease, Rakeem looked great in a full court transition drill, where on an NBA-sized floor he was able to show his speed even more. Besides the athleticism, he also showed a nice mid-range jumper at the elbow, knocking down many of them with ease in a drill that got the big men moving and taking shots off a pick and pop."
