what is the rule if someone says there leaving but changes their mind any body know like dfw for instance you never know go hoyas good luck jerimiah Well, it happened to Brandon Bowman in 2003, but this coverage does not read as if Rivers is having second thoughts about the process, only where he will go.

I wouldn't say he is even having second thoughts about where he will go. Rather, the initial report that he had decided on Indiana was just wrong.

From Scout:
Bloomington – Indiana appears to have a surprise visitor in town this weekend.
Jeremiah Rivers, the 6-4, 205-pound sophomore guard from Georgetown was courtside briefly for Friday night’s Adidas May Classic opener at Assembly Hall. Rivers, who has announced that he intends to transfer from Georgetown, was wearing an Indiana sweatshirt.

When is that dated? Some of the comments in the article posted about how he wasnt going to IU said he was wearing that sweatshirt, this may be what they are talking about

Interesting that Rivers might choose to play for Crean at IU but did not choose to play for Crean at his father's alma mater.

Interesting that Rivers might choose to play for Crean at IU but did not choose to play for Crean at his father's alma mater. He was very clear early on he did not want to play in his dad's shadow at Marquette, but his father and Crean have a very good relationship that I think Jeremiah shares.

IU would be a great call as they are going to be decimated for at least four to five years trying to turn it around down there. He can get a lot of minutes and work this off season on his O.

Last line from this ProJo article on the Cetlics vs. Pistons mentions Jeremiah: ProJo Mention of JR"Jeremiah Rivers, the son of the Celtics’ coach who announced last month that he was leaving Georgetown, is close on deciding his next school and will choose either Indiana or Georgia Tech." "Inside" Scoop from Scout: Sources: Rivers Tells Crean He's Heading to IUDate: May 26, 2008 Bloomington –Former Georgetown guard Jeremiah Rivers is headed to Bloomington. HoosierNation.com sources indicated that the 6-4, 205-pound guard told IU Coach Tom Crean today that he has picked the Hoosiers over Georgia Tech...

Indiana is a good fit...inferior Big Ten competition and time available on a rebuilding team. While Crean is landing some guards, Rivers will get time as a fourth-year junior over some of these raw freshmen.

"He told the Star that the Hoyas' offense didn't showcase his talents."
....yeah I see what he means, having to do all those things like shoot and make good passes...those are rough parts of the Hoyas offense
