agreed-we had them for Temple, but maybe we can have some made up, if not for this year, then next year-possible blue and grey ones? Or would it be better to stick w/ the white ones ala JT? I can't really decide-b/c they are sweet for distracting during FTs, and it's not like you can keep them on your shoulder while you're jumping around.

Well, WE had a name for the student section in the days I was at GU: the animal section. Not very unique, but it sort of conveyed the atmosphere. It was located in the middle section of McD. A favorite was not having to walk up to your seat in the back - the crowd would just pass you up.

That House of Tartan link is hilarious. A themed kilt for only 269 british pounds?!?! - What a steal! I had been looking for an easy way to drop over $300 - now I've found it.
I think towls are the way to go. Possibly a sign referencing JW's freedom.

Jersey, you would have loved Mac's down on M St. when I attended GU. On Friday night at 10 a bagpiper would magically appear and play for about 10 minutes and just as suddenly disappear again. I don't remember the quality of the playing (is there a quality to bagpipe playing), but we always looked forward to hearing the pipes. Helped the beer go down smoothly. ;D

Thanks a lot 007, a Medium shirt would be great, but I'll take whatever I can get. If you can, just store it aside, because I want one of those shirts real bad.
The towels idea sounds very nice. Plus, it's wouldn't be like you were jocking anyone's style cuz the old JT always had a towel. Besides, a thousand swinging towels always looks pretty crazy. Best of all....IT'S CHEAP!
Sorry Jack, I'm only 6 foot....

Best of all....IT'S CHEAP! Actually, the way 007 and I are doing it, it's free... I agree, I'm a fan of the rally towel, or pom poms, or anything you can wave around during defense or free throws. It's just a matter of getting everyone to do it.

I like your style CAhoya..... I suppose you have a "relative" in the towel business or something eh?? haha
Perhaps you should introduce the rest of the students to your towel making family member.....

CA are you and 007 getting these towels from a local vendor? If not I do know some people in the Center for Student Programs who might be able to hook you up with a really good deal on a ton of towels.

I have no knowledge of any Yates or what you people are talking about . Towels are definitely a must though due to the JT tradition.

Yates really isn't that bad any more. Not that I thought it was that bad to begin with.

Hi all! Does anyone have ebay experience? My buddy bought an Illinois beer stein on ebay for $18. How do you find them? I tried to do a search?
