I did not watch the game today because there are so many better things to do than watch our coach fumbling around and letting our starting five play “me” ball until they are tired (and then let them play some more). What legit programs out there have their starting center randomly disappear for a game? I’ll give you a hint at why this probably happened- it’s the guy that yells “MOVE” and “REBOUND” for 40 minutes. I cannot wait until we have moved on from this nightmare. It can’t happen soon enough.

Providence - 13.5; O/U 147.5 We'll probably cover... and lose. Same familiar story.

We kept it within single digits against the #24 ranked team….. do I hear a four year extension in the works? 😂

What sucks is that it must be miserable for the kids that have to go through the motions at practice every day with a lame duck coach that does not know what he is doing. The Administration might think that it is in the University's and Patrick Ewing's best interest to retain him until the end of the season, but what about the kids that actually attend the University and put on a Georgetown jersey? Do we really think it is in their best interest to finish out the next 35 days with the current coach and "Chief of Staff" Ronny?

Yes! Onward and downward!!! Yay! Go Hoyas! Go Ewing! Dang dude, ain't even February yet! Don't empty the snatch tank too early! Is February when the "regular season" starts now? Or are you thinking that the "all-star break" will help refocus our coaching staff?

Yes, nothing else other than sit here and think how do I bother miracles87… Did you know that, after today’s game, Patrick Ewing has a career losing record against every current Big East coach and against every BE team? That was an excruciating loss yesterday, on to Wednesday!! Yes! Onward and downward!!! Yay! Go Hoyas! Go Ewing!

So we face Creighton at home, UConn at home, Providence on the road and Marquette at home. I'm not saying there is no way we win any of those but with how dumb we play, it is hard to see us getting to 1-3 in this stretch. That would put us at 1-14 in conference and 6-20 overall. We then get Seton Hall on the road, Butler on the road and St. John's at home. We absolutely should win 2 of those three so that means we probably end up 1-2 or 0-3 in that stretch. We finish with Providence at home and Creighton on the road. So barring Q realizing how to keep the ball up and get right into his move, Murray finding out that grumbling after a miss or missed call isn't winning basketball (and did anyone else seem him leave the kid open for a dunk so he could cover his man only to be bailed out by a Akok block?), or this team in general figuring out how to defend, we are probably 2-18 in conference 7-25 overall. St. John's without their PG absolutely should have been a win. Man, we really could have used a secondary ballhandler like Dante Harris in that game. We also could have used an inside defender who at least made it hard on Soriano. This sums the rest of the season up very well. 2-18 is most likely in my view, with 3-17 or 4-16 a best case scenario. Don't forget the outside chance of 1-19 though!

Bennett’s attention to detail has impressed Harris, who said practices at UVA differ from those he went through at Georgetown. “We do a lot of skill work, and I feel like that’s still important to this day,” he said. I’m a fan. This was the key segment for me. It confirms something that we kind of knew already from other reports- that Ewing’s practices and teaching techniques are seriously lacking.

I enjoy seeing the eternally optimistic posters in this thread constantly picking the Hoyas to win. I get that we should root for the our student-athletes, but I must ask though- are you watching the same team and coaching that I am?

What if Ewing is not gone? The negativity should continue until he’s finally gone which may not happen until contract has expired. Your gaslighting is now unintentionally comical, hoyaroc. On what planet would a University allow any employee to continue his or her employment after such abject failure? At a certain point, it becomes more costly for a University to retain the employee than pay any buyout associated with firing him or her. We've clearly already crossed that threshold, and I'm confident we will have a new coach next year.

They need a new head coach, and new assistant coaches big time, and quick. Yawn already This is how I feel about the program right now. Wake me up when we have new coaches.

Team is fragile and lacks the confidence and composure to withstand a run by opponents, even a weak opponent like Seton Hall. Watching body language tells all—there is an expectation that they will lose. Not certain that the opponent matters anymore. 100% the truth. They need a slump buster big time, and quick. They need a new head coach, and new assistant coaches big time, and quick.

And there you have it. There are at least 20 Republicans who do not want to govern, and instead view their job as "trolling the libs" and tearing the country apart. Pathetic.

The "Republican" cult - the cult of insurrectionists, clowns, and morons. Twist in the wind "My Kevin" you POS. He will go down as the most feckless speaker in history. It’s hilarious. He’s cemented his legacy as a sniveling, spineless worm. This of course assumes that McCarthy has the votes to become Speaker...
