"2023-24 Scouting Notebook: Marquette Versus Georgetown Headlined by Marquette's Tyler Kolek and Iso Ighodaro, the clash between Marquette and Georgetown didn't disappoint from a scouting perspective. Who and what stood out from my scouting trip?... Drew Fielder | Big | 6’10 | 216 pounds | Freshman | Georgetown 11 points and 7 rebounds in 17 minutes. Most of his points came in the second half where the game was essentially out of reach, similar to Brumbaugh. Played hard during his time on the floor. Effort level was not affected by the lopsided score. Hit the glass, ran the floor hard, competed on both ends. Probably is Georgetown’s best long-term NBA prospect because of his blend of size, skill and toughness." www.si.com/nba/draft/newsfeed/2023-24-scouting-notebook-marquette-versus-georgetownI don't want to harp on this but I just don't get what Cooley is doing w/this kid... especially one he specifically went and retained after moving to Gtown. It would be one thing if Massoud has been lights out from 3 this year, or rebounds well or better defensively (which I don't think he is)...but none of the above has been the case. There HAS to be at minimum 10 mins at the 4 for this kid and 10 minutes at the 5 (since Cooley is not playing Mutumbo). Also people will disagree but you start playing him in crunch time as well. We are going nowhere this season, prepare for the future. I won't speculate but I will say I general in the world of transfers and kids looking around and see they are probably the best answer at their position and there not getting minutes...a lot of kids do not stick around... Spot on. Cooley has a long term commitment. Winning games today or tomorrow or next month means nothing big picture.

Diminished Biden v. Sociopath Grifter and his enablers - a binary choice. Many have argued that one result of Donald Trump’s narcissism and the behaviors following from it is that his presidency has been rocky (for journalistic chronicles of the Trump presidency, see [26–28]; for more candid critiques from within the Republican Party see [25, 29]). For example, Trump and those in his administration have been embroiled in legal disputes since the beginning of his term (which contributed to an unusually high degree of staff turnover), many of his domestic and international policies were unsuccessful, and due to his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, over 400,000 Americans died of the virus over the course of his presidency [26–28, 30]. Consequently, Trump’s approval rating in the U.S. never approached 50% and he was impeached by Congress approximately mid-way through his term and again at the end of his term [31]. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8049239/www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/moral-landscapes/202008/the-psychology-donald-trumpBut does it have to be one? Where are the “Democrat Leaders” who recognize that a man too feeble to prosecute probably should not be the standard bearer? Where is Dr. Jill to end this cruel charade? Let’s stipulate that the all Republicans are soulless scumbags. Aren’t the other guys better? Why this diminished, doddering shell of a man? Can’t the good guys do better?

Joe spared prosecution by virtue of his doddering incompetence. Too feeble to face charges. Priceless.

No snark here I promise. Isn’t beating him again at the ballot box the only way to end the Trump nonsense. Take him off the ballot and he is a political Martyr, no? Yes, but won't end Trumpism. I have no issue with SCOTUS punting here. Thank you for your polite response. I hope a sound electoral defeat ends his career and influence.

SCOTUS will be punting and reversing Colorado decision. No snark here I promise. Isn’t beating him again at the ballot box the only way to end the Trump nonsense. Take him off the ballot and he is a political Martyr, no?

Or these are the candidates a country this dumb deserves. It is often said people get the government they deserve. I always feel insulted when I hear it and look at Washington, not to mention the local buffoons.

Down from 18-21 %under the peanut farmer but why quibble. Peace. And refinanceed to 3.5% under Obama in 2012. Glad to know you are not getting gouged.

It should be, but it’s not. One party has been hijacked by incompetent imbeciles, degenerates, conspiracy theorists, racists, and sewer dwellers who are desperate for an authoritarian to tell what to think and do, and the other is beholden to idealistic, petulant children unwilling to compromise for incremental gains and who would not think twice about cutting off their noses to spite their faces. So this is where we are. Thus the tragedy.

Nice of you to declare the end of discussion. Awfully authoritarian of you. I will vote for neither of them. I might actually, perish the thought, vote for a Kennedy. Grow up snowflake. I had a 13% VA loan under sainted Ronald Reagan. Waaah! Move to Texas! Yee Haw! And I do miss your regurgitation of Fox talking points. Down from 18-21 %under the peanut farmer but why quibble. Peace.

Your chouce is fascism v. democracy. I guess we know your choice. A diminshed Biden is 1000x better than the fascist. End of discussion. Nice of you to declare the end of discussion. Awfully authoritarian of you. I will vote for neither of them. I might actually, perish the thought, vote for a Kennedy.

Badly.
My taxes are up.
My municipality under New Democrat control has enacted its own income tax to supplement failing schools that I don’t send my kids to.
I am looking at moving g but do not wish to give up my 3.5% mortgage for Bidenomics’ 6%.
You?

Massoud is absolutely killing our team. I do not understand Cooley's logic in giving Massoud so many minutes last night when you have Fielder on the bench. I would guess NIL factors in but by now Massoud is a sunk cost.

What's tragic is that a political party has turned into the cult of a racists/fascist/misogynist and his enablers continue to lie to the American public and that those who fall under the sway of said insurrectionist believe the garbage that spews forth from him. Just keep watching Fox Prop, Newsmax, OAN. . . But our venerable HoyaTalk "Republicans" are studiously silent on the grifter. That Trump is an insurrectionist, grifter, sexual harasser, slime bag rapist is all aside of the fact that our current President has oatmeal for brains.

When Joe discussed January 6 with Mitterrand and Kohl, did he use a Ouija Board? You should submit this joke to the Babylon Bee. They have a fetish for the extremely unfunny. There is nothing funny about it. It is tragic.

Got anything else from maybe the Weekly World News or Screw Magazine that you want to post as evidence? Absent video of the exchange it is absolutely impossible to assess context and tone. The words are unfortunate but if he and the kid were both laughing it is mostly a nothing burger in my opinion.

He is, at best, unorthodox.
That said, Walton gets that this is supposed to be fun.
