...And he can handle the ball. That's why I said he's a diamond in the... Fairway?

Monroe had to clear waivers (today I think) before he could be signed. Not to worry ‘rooter, I’m sure the Big Baller Train will get you back where you long to be. Funny. Yep, I'll be hitching my wagon to Larva Ball. Is the reference to "Larva" Ball a spellcheck typo or a wisdom-filled reference to his not yet fully formed game?

Immense win for St Johns and the conference. Biggest winner - beyond Chris Mullin - whoever finishes 7th in the Big East.

Maybe it is just me, but reading "a true diamond in the rough" in the title for more than a month has become quite annoying.
I respectfully request that the initiator of this thread change the title to just "Jamorko Pickett."

Blair got lucky drawing that foul as defender was "mostly" set. Maybe a little lucky, but he goes into the paint under control and makes it a 50/50 call as opposed to an obvious charge.

The turnovers are making me insane, but...........
....we have been fouled inside at least 4 times and have yet to get a call. So we revert to only shooting 3s

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it does not work in France but does produce a million pop ups. Based on the ESPN game feed maybe it is better that I can't see it. On the plus side, it seems that a great many French women want to have sex with me.

I sold him the seats next to me for the Vanderbilt and UNC games in the 2007 Regional.
On the very short list of the nicest people I have ever met.
RIP

I’ve been using that same one, plus checking where LJ wound up to make sure his stats are accounted for. For Marcus and Jessie, I’m primarily using ESPN game logs, and adding to what’s on here. On the three point list for Jesse, have you accounted for Rodney Prior's 84 three pointers from last year? Also, have you included Tre Campbell's 53 career threes?

After Marquette, DePaul and (ugh) Creighton, Jessie is at: - 820 points, passing Andy Kostecka for 66th all-time. Next up, Jim Carrino and Otto Porter (both at 822). - 471 rebounds, breaking into the top 50, passing Jessie Sapp and Larry Long White for 44th-- next up, Ralph Dalton (473), Jason Clark (475) and Sleepy Floyd and Jahidi White (both 477). - 86 blocks, still all alone at 21st. Next up is Henry Sims (94), Mikael Hopkins (96), and Greg Monroe (97). - 35 made threes, still tied with Ed Sheffey for 47th all time. Next up, Eric Myles (36), Jerry Nichols (36) and Shenard Long (36), Greg Whittington (37). Marcus is at: - 677 points, up to 81st all-time-- next up, Frank Hollendoner (689). - 376 rebounds, 72nd all time. Next up, Wesley Wilson (378). - 90 made threes, passing Reggie Williams, LJ Peak, and Jeff Green for 23rd all time. Next up, Hollis Thompson and Irvin Church (94). Where are you getting your list of career stats? The only link I can find is current up through the 2015-16 season?

Look at the reaction of Marcus after the tip. It looked a lot like my reaction, and I am 1500 miles away.
