T.D. Ierlan, #1 faceoff man becomes eligible for Denver March 21 after transfer from Yale. So we won’t see him this week but don’t be surprised to see him in BET; difference maker. But I’m sure Reilly is eager for the challenge. I don't know what is more difficult for me to process--someone transferring from Yale to Denver, or Denver being in the Big East. He’s still going to get that Yale sheepskin. |

Pac 12 - can we get Walton to call the game? He's the bet in the business. It looks like we are getting Lappas. Absolutely brutal. It hardly seems possible but he might have been a better coach than he is an analyst. And we have him to thank for Wright being at ‘nova. |

Victory over Bill Garnett and Wyoming Cowboys in our first game of the '82 tourney. Small payback for their victory over us in the '43 Championship game. That's right. Contrary to what you often hear in the media we've been to more than 4 Final Fours.

We beat SMU in ‘84 37-36....that’s the lowest score I can remember. SMU was our first game in the championship year. We came that close to not moving on. Game was not televised where I live. Periodic updates were torture. Jon Koncak. |

Faceoffs will be big against Denver. Stathakis has taken all of them for DU and is 61%.(I guess T.D. Ierlan never made it there). Reilly is at 71% individually and as a team Hoyas are 68%. Denver offense is high powered. Possession will be everything.
