Currently on the Tombs menu is a sandwich called the "Hibbert Roast Beef Dunk." Contains medium rare roast beef, onions, cheese and au jus. This is not a joke.

Actually, after the Final Four run, the Tombs had a special named after a different basketball player each day. However, the Hibbert Roast Beef Dunk proved so popular that they decided to put it on the regular sandwich menu. It is very tasty.

Tombs food....blech. Until they bring back the original Tombs pizza, I'm not interested.
Now, if Wisey's re-names the Chicken Madness after Hibbert, that's news!!
(kidding, of course; very cool of The Tombs to do this)

I recently had the Hibbert and can say that it is in fact "mighty tasty". Word is that the Jeff Green was very good - but it has decided to move to Clydes in July. No word on which location or whether it will perform well enough there to make it into 1789 some day.

As of last night, Roy is on the Tombs menu, Jeff is not. The guy at the next table ordered one, and it did look tasty, except for those nasty onions.

Someone told me The Tombs no longer carries The Bulldog?!? That sandwich was the best thing it had going for it, food-wise.
If true, that place is dead to me.

Is the Sweetney Badonkadonk Special still available on the Tombs menu?

I had the Gerald Riley - it takes a long time to get to your table and usually your very disappointed in it - but once every 10 times you come to the Tombs it is incredible.

I had the Michael Graham pizza once. The first slice was one of the best I've ever had, but the remaining slices just disappeared.

Der Ashantiwurst ist sehr gut, but for some reason they insist on putting the mustard on it from an absurdly long distance, so that it sometimes misses the plate entirely.

The DaJuan Summers Club is only available to diners who have dunked viciously over a prone Tyler Hansbrough.

On a serious note, is the Tombs allowed to use the names of current players to promote menu items? I am certain that the NCAA prohibits the use of current student-athletes names & likenesses to promote programs (e.g. summer camps, etc.), but does the same restriction apply to private establishments? Can we possibly be subject to getting nailed with an NCAA violation just because a local restaurant (that is only somewhat financially supportive of GU Athletics) throws Roy's name out there?
I'm being serious here.
