I'm banking on 2 of 3 upsets in remaining games.
I think WV over Louisville for sure.
And I somehow think Pitt solves Marquette.

Tough intrapersonal dilemma: On one hand, I'd love to see Cuse and Pitt again to take revenge on Cuse and prove that we're better than Pitt by going 2-1 against them.
On the other, I'd love to crush ND again and take it to Louisville for the sweep of both. I also feel like ND and L'Ville don't match up as well against us, and psychologically we'd have an easier time with them.
Then again, I don't care who we play as long as we win.

Why are you looking at Pitt over Marquette as an upset?

Why are you looking at Pitt over Marquette as an upset? because Marquette has won the first two meetings...although I imagine vegas might have Pitt as slight favorites due to the better seeding and McNeal's injury

Gee, shocked to see Devendorf acting like a punk with his team losing.

Big East tourney has been chalk so far...both in terms of no upsets and covering in Vegas.
Interesting.
ND/G-Town. Great match-up of styles. ND chuck and duck and Hoyas actually playing real defense.

Anyone catch Devendorf give an ND player a shove in the back out of frustration when they were down 10 under 2 minutes to play?
To quote a Cuse fan who posted here last week and was unable to defend him, "he is what he is." And I think we all know what he is.

Kinda OT...but Maryland about to lose to frickin Miami Hottest team in the country, my ass! Interesting side note. I have college basketball score portlet enabled on my "my.yahoo" and I just got out of a meeting, so I went to check the score of the Cuse-ND game. Twerps-Miami was not listed among the scores. (though they are on the home page of Yahoo! sports). Not all that surprising really, considering that UMCP and "The U" aren't really colleges at all. Back to the BET. Did Eric "StevenDorff" spit on anyone?

He's a punk and I would NEVER want a kid like that on my team. I know people won't believe me, but I almost feel like Boeheim can't stand him either. Notice during timeouts when Devendorf tries to talk to him he kind of gives him glares and looks etc. Kind of cracks me up. I think his own coach...and probably own parents hate him too

Cheddar Bob goes back to the 8 Mile and "McDonough's BE POY" proves he can't do anything to dictate outcome of a game except take off balanced 3's. Paul "Lotto from 8 Mile" Harris is a good player--and has no jumpshot--if he finds one--he'll be a real terror. F the Cuse and I love any loss by those jerks--but would've liked to deliver a painful beatdown to them--well there is always next year or possibly in NCAA's??

This Smalligan character on WVU has to be AT LEAST 30 years old.

Wanted the rematch with Syracuse, but any Cuse loss is a good thing. Not only did Devendorf shove a guy, but the refs just let it go and it was right in front of one of them. I agree Boeheim doesn't seem to care much for the guy and most SU fans I talk to around here have a hard time saying much good about him.
Kind of surprised that there have been no upsets yet and I don't really see any tonight. I don't think Pitt will lose 3 straight to Marquette, especially with MU missing McNeal. Watching Louisville/WVU right now and I have to say that since Caracter came back for the Ville, they are the team that scares me the most in this tournament. They have taken a HUGE step up since we last saw them and I would see it as a big favor if someone else would take them out. We know what we would get with Pitt/Marquette (they haven't changed much since we beat either of them) and I don't see WVU making a run through the whole tournament. Louisville, however, is a team that could do some damage. After we beat ND, Louisville is the team I least want to see in the final. WVU is staying close, so maybe they'll make most everything I just said null and void.

By the way, is anyone else tired of these 212 degree "incremental effort" WVU t-shirts that ESPN seems so enamored with?

I was just talking about those shirts with a friend. Possibly the lamest thing I've ever heard of.
