Consider Troy Smith: Heisman Trophy winner, poor national championship performance, poor pre-draft workouts, likely 2nd or 3rd rounder now. If Jeff plays poorly in the BET and NCAA, he won't go in the top 15. The knock on him is that he "sometimes doesn't show up" since he had a number of poor games this year before our big win streak. This doesn't mean he won't turn pro, just saying he is not guaranteed to go in the top 15 at this point if he doesn't perform over the next few weeks.

That's a no-brainer, cambridge. Did you see his numbers last year (wins excluded)? I've got him as a 4th Tier keeper in my league. I'm well aware of his stats, I would just like to make some bold statement at our auction this Sunday...something along the lines of "Chris Young personally assured me of at least 17 wins and an ERA under three and half...so I'm keeping him. Says his stuff has been nasty this spring." I like your style, cambridge. You want to walk into that draft with a swagger and throw it in your buddy's faces. I can't assure you of that, but I can tell you he reported to Spring Training in excellent shape and was very optimistic about the season. When he was first drafted 2 years ago at our live draft, we called him to inform him he had been selected in the last round of our draft as a 5th tier keeper, which turned out to be the steal of the draft. It was an unprecendented move in Fantasy Baseball, to actually call one of your players and inform him he has been drafted by Team G.L. in the 20th round.
