I can't watch anymore. Click. However, some of the reactions here already are ridiculous. Look, we played a terrible game - not one single Hoya even brought their B game. The fact that it is against 'Cuse breaks my heart. But let it go. Beat the Huskies and take the BET. see, i just don't understand where the 'ridiculous reactions' are - people have been commenting about how terribly we have played - which we have. now if our level of play against SYRACUSE is meaningless or not comment-worthy, then why even watch? edit: ok just saw that you turned off the game.

I just meant "fine" about the loss---the effort, intensity, poise, intelligence---they were not fine at all...
it's a good wake up call--light the fires before the tourney

In two hours have gone from believing this team was a Final Four team to thinking that I will be standing outside MSG at 2:00 p.m. next Thursday tring to dump the rest of my Big East tickets.
The life of a fan.

Missing shots is going to happen over course of a year--I have no problem with that. Sapp is taking good shots and if he doesn't take that shot--he shouldn't be in game--so I applaud him and other kids for shooting. LOSING YOUR POISE is NOT acceptible and III lost his poise, Jeff lost his poise, and team has played out of character. Jeff has played very poor after the woofing between he and Devendork and Cuse upped their level of play--and Hoyas haven't answered. If you think Sapp should be leading the team in shot attempts, then we have vastly different opinions of what this team should be trying to accomplish offensively.

i can handle being beaten, but this team showed no life from the start, other than patrick. our guards were just flat out horrible.

Devendorf has entered my top 10 of least favorite Big East players of all time tonight, passing Carl Krauser for 9th.

the guys played tight tonight, real tight. i am not sure whether it is because it is the excuse or that a conference championship is in sight

Devendorf has entered my top 10 of least favorite Big East players of all time tonight, passing Carl Krauser for 9th. he epitomizes my hatred for syracuse. also, he's trying too hard to be gerry mac, vol. 2. no excuses for the effort. we easily could've pulled away in the beginning of the second half. however, i will say that, yes, those rims were EXTREMELY tight. i'm not blaming that on anything, just saying that they made it THAT much more painful to watch us on a horrendous off-night.

All said... we couldn't buy a basket in the last 8 or so minutes. Missing layups, missing threes, missing open jumpers. Yeah, Cuse was shooting hot, but if you score like 9 points in 8 minutes, good things are not going to happen, especially on the road.
