on second thought, the officials have nothing to do with our inability to guard shooters.....we're getting embarrassed.

For everybody that wanted a loss to end the streak before the BET, I hope you enjoyed this one.

This is the worst 5 minutes of basketball they have played all year. We don't look like a team that wants to win a conference championship tonight. It's a shame.

We were clearly tired from Saturday. We had no legs, no energy, were sloppy, but there is never a reason to show no heart. From about the 13-14 minute mark it looked like we were just waiting for the game to end.
I LOVE our team, but tonight was just sad. We didn't bring it, and it's very uncharacteristic of this squad.

An embarrassing effort across the board - a great way to head toward the postseason, for all the posters who wanted a loss to "ease the pressure".

Guards have killed us. But EVERYONE looks like crap, everyone looks in awe of the Dome, even Jeff in this half.

I can't watch anymore. Click.
We played a terrible game - not one single Hoya even brought their B game. The fact that it is against 'Cuse breaks my heart. But let it go.
Beat the Huskies and take the BET.

Sapp is a complementary player and he jacks up shots like he is Sleepy Floyd. Enough.

When Wallace plays like shi t, we play like shi t.

'Cuse gave us every opportunity we could want in the first half, especially early, and we didn't do anything with it. Bad shooting, bad rebounding, and AWFUL turnovers (again). Let a team hang around like that and they start thinking they can win. In the mid second half, our guards seemed to panic--another bad three from Jesse as I'm writing this--and we completely lost our gameplan. We can only hope this is a decent learning experience, because as a game it was pretty bad.

sapp and wallace combined 3-18, 1-11 from 3 with 5 min left. numerous bad TO's and forced shots. i don't understand what they are thinking.

i know one of these games was bound to happen--that's fine...
but honestly--does anyone find it a major problem that we absolutely cannot get Hibbert the ball anymore?

Wallace has looked like a freshman in a couple of recent games, Rivers just looks like he always does, like he has NO BUSINESS on the floor of a Big East game. He is a A10 level player right now at best.
I don't know what's up with Sapp.

Missing shots is going to happen over course of a year--I have no problem with that. Sapp is taking good shots and if he doesn't take that shot--he shouldn't be in game--so I applaud him and other kids for shooting.
LOSING YOUR POISE is NOT acceptible and III lost his poise, Jeff lost his poise, and team has played out of character. Jeff has played very poor after the woofing between he and Devendork and Cuse upped their level of play--and Hoyas haven't answered.

It's never "fine" to play without passion, intelligence, or intensity.
