It is not just I that found issues with the post. Admin clearly stated its concern & asked that we not speculate on this particular facet of recruiting going forward. Citing "sources" is not the same as words coming directly from Coach's mouth. Those words were: "the only people who know who are on scholarship are him and the guys." Should that be the case though? I still don't understand why athletic scholarships are not made public. Welcome to Georgetown. Where did you think "Hoya Paranoia" came from? |

I still don't understand why athletic scholarships are not made public. It's not really anybody's business but the players. I don't tell people how much financial aid I get. Most people don't like to tell people how much money they make at their jobs. Scholarships are similar. The players are free to tell whomever they want, if they want, but if they don't want to, then it's just between the player, their family, the University and the coaches. |
