gtown vs. pitt gotta be on espn? It has to be with the 9:00 start time. It should be the first "gameday" game of the year. I think the list linked through the MU board is incomplete.

If you live in an apartment, how are they going to keep you out? It's not like they change the locks. According to housing, only university townhouse residents are allowed to stay during the break. My guess is that they disable the ID card swipers necessary to get to the locked doors, but the rule might just be an empty threat.

A problem for Henle and Village B residents for sure, but Village A should be alright.

It's possible to get into New South, Vil C, Harbin, etc., they just don't want you there.

I am thrilled with this schedule. It's good to see that JT III doesn't feel the need to schedule a bunch of MEAC teams in order to prove his manhood and get off on some sort of perverse sadomasochistic month of blowouts.
Give me Michigan, Duke, Oregon, Navy and Vanderbilt over Howard, Norfolk State, Grambling, UMBC and Coastal Carolina any day of the week.
Thanks, Coach Thompson. Now--unlike the first half of this decade--we actually have some compelling games to watch in November and December. Now, I am proud to call myself a Hoya again.

Now, I am proud to call myself a Hoya again. The fact you need a basketball schedule just to be proud to be a Hoya is pathetic.

I have always been proud to be a Hoya, and always will be. But between 1999 and 2004, I was rarely proud to call myself a fan of Hoya basketball. No coincidence, then, that it was during that period when our schedule was littered with MEAC teams. I'm not sure who orchestrated the schedule and got off on this perverse, sadomasochistic month of blowouts--but I've got an idea. I've got a very good idea, and he hasn't been in McDonough for a long time.

I've been sitting here for 10 minutes trying to figure out who on those coaching staffs he could possibly be talking about. I'm just surprised he is actually trying to veil his attacks now, albeit thinly veiled.

Like most of the other people on this board, I'm on the same page as you, but it is time to move on. We don't need to attach ourselves to a sadomasochistic tendancy to prove our manhood by trashtalking our former coach.
On edit: I do realize that earlier in the thread, I mentioned said coach's scheduling philosophy but not in the ad-hominym manner that yours did.
