Except for the one possession when we went zone, we've been much more aggressive in the last 4 minutes. Going to have to keep it up.

Roy keep posting and making something happen big man...let's establish a little high low action. Just need to guard shooters and knock down a few shots. Need to clear out lane when Jeff is posting up...he can take his guy to the hoop and maybe cause some foul probs.

Hey RDF - Shut up. You're like the loudmouth at the sports bar who everyone wishes would stop screaming. I realize this is your schtick, but if you're going to have a coronary on every change of possesion, keep them to yourself. It's not a schtick to assume that a team will watch film of an opponent. I've seen them play 10 times and nothing that they've done is surprising--they hit open shots and have trouble if you make them put the ball on the floor--this isn't a dribble/drive team. So what do I see? Open spot up 3's and it's either the Staff or players who just don't understand how to start a basketball game out. It's frustrating and it's type of approach that doesn't win games in March or anytime else against GOOD TEAMS. Hibbert's move was most aggressive he's made in about 2/3 weeks and it's ABOUT TIME. 7'2 guys need to DUNK near rim--and I loved it. I don't care how game ends up--I just want to see AGGRESSIVE BASKETBALL played by a well prepared and urgent basketball team and I just don't think we see that--whether it's players or Staff being young and not knowing how to prepare--we do a good job making Halftime Adjustments but always start out as if we don't know a thing about opponents and don't understand what they like to do-which is job of coach. Think that is why Crawford was in--he listens/pays attention to what Staff says.

Completely in agreement about Jeff. He needs to ratchet up the intensity as does Bobo. Roy's bringing it!

Great half by Roy, decent by Wallace, but nobody else showed up.
Crawford and Sapp taking 3 threes in a half is a bad sign too.

You can tell how Bowman will play each half simply by watching him near rim--if he goes up strong, we'll get a good game/half, if he allows himself to be swatted, goes up soft, he's going to be useless. Owens is playing terrible defense as is Cook--who's had a terrible Half.
Best lineup is Roy, Jeff, Sapp, Wallace, and Crawford right now--time for the SR's to STEP UP!

During the half, someone needs to convince Owens we're actually playing S. Carolina or St. John's - he needs to shoot the ball.

The "Dance" is possibly half over and Brandon and Jeff aren't dancing!

If you guys really think GU can beat Northern Iowa, you are nuts. It's because they should and have the tools to do so, is why they will lose. It's half time but it might as well be end-of-game-time. The party is over. C'ya next year!!!!

Some of you people are unbelieveable. The Hoyas have clearly not played their best yet they are only 4 points down at halftime. Get a grip.

During the half, someone needs to convince Owens we're actually playing S. Carolina or St. John's - he needs to shoot the ball. We need him to play some DEFENSE. Also, get ball up the court early, so we can feed the post and they can't set their defense. Our bigs are too weak in lower body and Stoudt and Coleman just push them out with superior strength. It's really bothering Jeff and he's got to adjust. Elmore has been AWFUL as an analyst--Hoyas are more deliberate team and he keeps saying UNI is "slowing" pace. He then talks about non-call of Stoudt pushing Green/Hibbert out and we play in the damn Big East--we should be used to physical play. Jeff acts like he got punched on that hard foul--WE ARE FRIGGIN GEORGETOWN---play through it and take game to them!!! Unreal. This team might not have NCAA experience, but it's lack of toughness shows up a lot and it's going to take team to get stronger/tougher before we really make some noise--at every position. Wallace/Sapp have played like our most experienced/poised guys and Roy adjusted and just played ball--DJ, Jeff, Bowman, Cook are getting worked.

now we're playing some ball and it all starts with D Yep--and playing AGGRESSIVE!!! If we play this way entire Half, then I have nothing but positive things to say. Wish it would transfer to a full 40 minutes, but it's just not something this particular Hoya team does.

Jessie Sapp is OLD SCHOOL Georgetown--I don't know who said he isn't good a few weeks ago but that kid HAS to play for us to be at our best--he gets after it on defense and isn't afraid to take a shot/make a play--I love that kid's approach to game and hopefully others will follow.
Jeff has to realize--when Roy kicks it out--go right back in--don't just hoist up a shot--and he's a better 3 pt shooter from up top--would like to see Roy fake to Jeff and go top of key to Wallace--reverse to Sapp on other side for open 3.
