The fact that Notre Dame is impressively unimpressive makes this all the more frustrating. We just have no offensive gameplan, no concept of shot selection, and no ability to hit open shots if we happen to accident our way into them.

I won't pretend that I can preach what we should be doing offensively but feels extremely stagnant, especially compared to what ND is doing...

We can't seem to penetrate enough to draw the D, everything just passing around the perimeter

I have feared that this team is vulnerable to any good shooting/competent 3-point shooting team. My fears have been realized. It could be a long year.

And another wide-open miss for the white shooter what’s-his-name And another wide-open miss by him… good defense, boys! At some point the double-helping resulting in wide-open shooters is on Cooley… or are we blaming inexperienced players? If so, why get inexperienced players?

Caleb is really solid on a lot of the non-traditional stats on defense, offensive spacing, on court communication lead on defense, hustle, and getting the ball out when it is stuck to get to decent shots.

This is crap basketball, I can not watch this crap. No defense, no rebound and no offense. This really sucks

You could've told me this team didn't have a coach today and I would believe you

My Kingdom for a Burton. Really not sure what the offensive plan is.

He is an interesting player because sometimes it is not obvious where he fits, but he does so many things right you need him on the floor somewhere.

I feel like the reflexive opinion whenever we are bad this year is going to be that Epps is playing too much. To be fair, he's been taking horrible shots this game, but so is everyone else, basically. Epps and Mack are a combined 8-27 (fg) and 5-14 (3pt), that's not good all on from the back court. Sorber (so far) has only had 8 attempts (12 pts), and Burks is at 8 attempts too (5 pts).

Good showing from the students, but pathetic effort from the team

Why on earth was Curtis coming from high right 3 coverage to left corner to cover player left wide open?

This one is on Cooley. He has just as much talent as Notre Dame, if not more. Any impact he has had on this game is invisible.

Exactly nothing about this game says anything other than we are going to be remarkably horrible for the fourth year in a row.

An awful lot like Peavy, but with better outside set 3 shot. Caleb on offense is still adjusting to D1, but in top travel games he has a lot of tools. At Sidwell he ran point, like Peavy is doing when Malik is off the floor.
