We do have a couple physician friends who voted for The Big Insurrectionist. I don't see how any physician who isn't himself a whack job, such as Dr. Quack down in Florida, can possibly defend this.

Hegseth is a sub-optimal pick for many reasons, and if the allegations of sexual assault are credible that pick is indefensible as well.

I was doing fine with Rubio. I dislike him immensely for being a coward, but at the very least he’s intelligent and competent. How do you feel about Gabbard? I think of every pick (aside from RFK), that she is the biggest danger to the safety and well-being of the country.

Not a huge fan, mostly because she is a creature of Congress/DC.

I am not convinced she is as dangerous as is Gaetz who is a clown and a loyal toady.

To me, Gaetz’s inexperience and incompetence will likely just lead to Comer-like levels of bungling politically motivated investigations and prosecutions. They will anti-democratic and the base will love them, but I don’t think much actually comes from his ineptitude. Gabbard being inexperienced and incompetent could be absolutely catastrophic for our security and the security of our allies. I would not blame another country for hesitating in sharing any intelligence with us if she’s actually approved.

Fair enough.

Given recent leaking I am not sold that sentiment does not already exist.

Most allies need us more than vice versa so I am harder pressed to believe they will stonewall Uncle Sam.
