It’s something I have been talking about for years. Ja Morant doesn’t stay at his mid major school for his second season in this type of environment. I don’t think it’s a good thing.

So you don’t think averaging over 12 points a game as a freshman and over six assists while shooting 52% from the two wouldn’t get you a lot of portal invites? Especially when other teams recognize the elite tier athleticism and recognize the high upside with Morant being a frosh instead of some upperclassmen or graduate?

Of course, he would have suitors with those numbers from 3 coming from a MM league, I doubt programs would have gone crazy.

The Hunter Dickinson recruitment is what I'd define as crazy. How many transfer recruitments have there been at that level?

Would you consider Malik Mack's recruitment "crazy"? His frosh numbers are better than Morant's

The bottom line imho is that Morant wouldn't have been viewed as a game changer after his frosh season.

And with that one statement, the value of your humble opinion just plummeted. Any notion that a trained eye couldn’t have seen the value of Ja Morant after his Freshman year ridic.
