With Dixon back and Wooga coming I think the preseason rankings that had the Hoyas higher than Nova will change.

So much for I’m never leaving. Who is on that UConn roster we can target?? I would have to assume it is going be a massive abandon ship there...

I thought the NBA had learned this lesson years ago. The Lakers must be desperate.

Having once sat through a week of ESPN playing up John Thompson signing with the Denver Nuggets, I'll believe this one when I see it.
The NBA has a track record of chewing up college coaches (Vitale, Massimino, Tarkanian, even Pitino).

Having once sat through a week of ESPN playing up John Thompson signing with the Denver Nuggets, I'll believe this one when I see it. The NBA has a track record of chewing up college coaches (Vitale, Massimino, Tarkanian, even Pitino). Brad Stevens did okay with the Celtics, I guess. In his eight seasons as Head Coach for the Boston Celtics he amassed a record of 354-282 (.557) in 636 regular season games that saw the Celtics make three appearances in the Eastern Conference Finals and seven straight trips to the playoffs from 2015-2021. He sits fourth in franchise history for most wins by a head coach behind just Red Auerbach, Tommy Heinsohn and Doc Rivers. His 78 playoff games coached, and 38 wins, are fifth most in franchise history behind Red Auerbach, K.C. Jones, Tommy Heinsohn and Doc Rivers. During his coaching career for the Celtics, he was named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Coach of the Month three times (April 2015, February 2016, November 2017) and was also given the honor of coaching the Eastern Conference during the 2017 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans. www.sloansportsconference.com/people/brad-stevens

Rob hasn’t kept up with Cooley since March of 2023?

Rob hasn’t kept up with Cooley for the since March of 2023? Dauster and Goodman are now online and pushing a new "first call": Bruce Pearl. Cooley's brand among the chattering class isn't as strong after year one.

Cooley's brand among the chattering class isn't as strong after year one. I think this is driven more by who is motivated to move and campaigning for a move than anything.
