Epps had Heath as an outlet, but Epps isn't a point guard so didn't even look. What does position have to do with not seeing an open teammate? We're much too fixated on this board about point guard position

Overall, that was the best half of team D this team has played in a while.

At MSG. Great atmosphere today. Good half Hoyas.

Mac really needs to learn how to score on a contested break, he just leaves the ball out there asking for the block.

We're much too fixated on this board about point guard position Fixated on point gaurd as that role drives the offense. The point needs to look and see the flow on the floor and take advantage of what is given or create for others. Terrell Allen was the last pure point the Hoyas had. Cooley calls this out a lot. There are three important roles on a team and they need to be in sync: coach, point guard, and scorer. Missing a solid point. Epps can score, but doesn't see the floor well nor create for teammates, Rowan is much much closer to that role, but not not adjusted fully to D1 yet.

He can (dunks easily), but mostly leans on layup / lay in. Much of that is prior coaching.
