Hoyas are up 6 at half over #2 see Washington. They are moving the ball well and defending really well, which have been their strengths this season.

Dominating the 2 seed. The 1 seed on that side of bracket already lost I believe.

Well, uh, definitely made it interesting by letting the Huskies go on a 12-0 run to start the 4th... but they managed to stay mentally tough and found a way. On to Tulsa!

The UW announcers were brutal to listen to. But, also made the win that much more enjoyable. I really like watching this team play.

I have been impressed how the Hoyas have adjusted with the loss of Scott. She is so good inside, on the boards, and hitting threes. It is amazing looking at the transformation of this team from last year to this year, with largely the same team, but drastically different mentality.

Down 4 at the half. Tulsa is 9-11 from 3. 82%. Seriously.

Another game where the home announcers are a little one-sided, but not in a cheerleader way thankfully.
Hoyas holding their own but this will be a tough team to beat without Scott. Ransom playing very hard but she's left her shots short since near the end of the second quarter.
On the other hand, these 2 tournament games (and most of the season) have exemplified how connected tough defense evens teams out. If you don't have it, wins don't follow.

Had the lead down to 2 midway through the 4th then ran into problems, the biggest of which was Ransom fouling out when one of the Tulsa players fell over her. Final margin not indicative of how close the game was before the end. Tough to beat a team shooting as well as Tulsa did despite very good defense. Great season for these women.

Well said Dan. Ran into a buzz saw from 3. Could never get over the hump with the comeback. Looking forward to Haney keeping them regularly competitive. Has a big job replacing Ransom who probably will play professionally.

I thought they would have another come from behind win. A great season that improved so much over prior years. A lot of great teamwork, awareness of each other, tough coordinated defense, and keeping the ball moving in tough slowdown approach. They have been fun to watch and a joy to root for.
