Success in college basketball is, in fact, increasingly difficult to measure for players. I guess a bigger bag is one of the criteria....

Or… Murray is back with his former LSU coach and earning more NIL$ than in any other school… One might question why anyone at McNeese State is backing up the Brink's truck for a player that averaged 2.2 points in his final 10 games for Ole Miss this season and 4.3 PPG overall.

Or, after having that season, he doesn’t command big NIL$ and comes back to Wade very cheap.

"NC State recruited Styles after he left UNC in the portal last offseason. He said he strongly considered the Wolfpack but ultimately wasn't "comfortable" enough to immediately switch to an in-state rival, resulting in a one-year stint at Georgetown. "It was me feeling more comfortable with making that decision," Styles said. "That was really it. We all know the UNC to NC State thing. We aren't going to act like we don't know about that. I just honestly felt more comfortable this time around. That was the biggest thing. It felt a little different than making the switch straight from UNC to NC State." Styles said he's looking forward to playing UNC at least twice next season, and the experience will be less awkward since a majority of his former Tar Heel teammates are no longer with the program... Styles arrived at UNC as a four-star prospect rated as the No. 63 overall recruit and No. 12 small forward in the class of 2021. He played sparingly during his two seasons in Chapel Hill and enjoyed a breakout season under first-year head coach Ed Cooley at Georgetown last season. He started all 32 games for the Hoyas this season and averaged 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He shot 43.0% from the field and 36.8% from behind the 3-point line. "I have to thank coach [Ed] Cooley for giving me the opportunity to go out there and get my confidence back," Styles said. "I was struggling with that because I didn't play a lot at Carolina and never got the opportunity. I'm just way more confident in my game. Playing a lot of minutes was the main thing for me." 247sports.com/article/dontrez-styles-addresses-transfer-to-nc-state-after-starting-career-at-unc-230783379/

Chris Wright definitely knew whom to get the ball to! That's a pleasant memory. Freeman played lights out in that game.
