If true seems like a nice add. I too question the timing, as it seems odd in December. Was he not healthy enough to be on a team this fall?
Ewing’s biggest success to date may just be his transfer pulls (Malinowski, Allen, Yurtseven, Bile, Carey), which ironically has been used to replace the talent transferring out.

He announced he was transferring a week before the season started. Pretty hard for coaches to add himn at that point and smarter for him to finish out the semester from an academics standpoint.

I feel a little odd about taking transfers within the District but if he wants to be a Hoya, we could certainly use the help. Also, I don't know if it's still true but a lot of the guys on the team used to spend a good amount of time at Howard and vice versa. So, I feel like if Wayne wants to come, he probably knows exactly what he's signing on for in terms of the team and campus life in general and will still get to keep the relationships he's built at Howard without much difficulty.

When would Bristol need to be enrolled at Georgetown in order to be eligible to play in the game in the "spring" semester? The first semester is over now and I would assume most of the kids on campus are already home by now. The second semester must start soon after New Years. Maybe the week of 1/10? If he is going to play on the basketball team in games this season, I would think we would need to hear something definite in the next few days.

That's correct - classes start the 12th. We need someone who knows what the rules are for mid-year transfers. It doesn't get any more ready-made than this: player with experience, has faced some adversity (injury, missed playing time), and knows the DC basketball scene. On our end, losing Riley and needing some length and maturity, you gotta like the possibilities. Come on, Coach & staff, make this happen!

How would him joining Hoyas impact ongoing recruitment for '22 and "23?

I am normally the one that gets excited and then nothing happens. Was there anything that spoke of an attraction from either side or is this wishful hoping? I may have missed this.
Perhaps some of you have an inside track that the rest of us don't.

I don't understand the fascination yet. If he were 6-9/10, I would.

I don't view Yurtseven as a success story for GU. Overall, a disappointment.

Adding someone who was the freshman of the year of a conference that as we see the landscape of college basketball that level isn't that much below majors now. Howard has 2 or 3 players now that would get minutes off the bench on this team.

Low major been beating high majors or keeping games close all year. Low majors have the advantage because teams with this new transfer portal are not together as long as the 90-10s. 0-7 Texas Southern went and beat Florida at Florida there are numerous other examples
