I can't believe we don't have anything like that. Confused - what about the announcement that we DO have that very thing makes you say you "can't believe we don't have anything like that." It's OURS, we very much have it.

I just assumed that was how you were supposed to respond after every program announcement about NIL, branding, athlete promotion & sponsorships. /s (I'm actually very happy to see this.)

I can't believe we don't have anything like that. Lol. Good one. Also, it's great Georgetown is doing this, but at the same time shouldn't they have also put out a social media post with a detailed injury report on every player, what they're eating for breakfast, and if Ewing is consulting the Don Jay Wright for fashion advice?

How can they possible when all the deep strategic thinkers are lending their talents to this board? I don’t believe they have any guys with a management or basketball background around the program, I could be wrong though.

I was not, but it's interesting that you apparently can't keep track of all the people you insult enough to warrant the attention of the mods...

Just keep being offended by my presence, I don’t mind. You’re the only one insulting people, but I digress.

Ramogi Huma, founder and executive director of the National College Players Association, has advocated for college athletes’ rights for more than two decades. A former UCLA linebacker, Huma earned a master’s degree in public health in 2001. This Q&A, which has been edited for length, expands on some of the views he shared during his Sept. 30 testimony before a U.S. House subcommittee hearing on college athletes’ ability to profit from their name, image and likeness. www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/10/06/name-image-likeness-ramogi-huma-college-athletes/?itid=hp_sports

Random information, but the measurements may slide him down a few notches. Unless the talent on the floor, far outweighs the concerns.

Look at those hand measurements. I have what I would consider TINY hands for a man, and his measurements are barely 1/4 of an inch larger than mine. Can the man even palm a basketball?

Was thinking about NIL last night and realized the big money won’t really come till someone develops a CBB video game

Was thinking about NIL last night and realized the big money won’t really come till someone develops a CBB video game I think EA sports had the last one out there. I believe that ended in like 2008, 2009, etc range

Was thinking about NIL last night and realized the big money won’t really come till someone develops a CBB video game Visual Concepts, which makes the very popular NBA2K series, used to have an annual College Hoops game until 2008. A game like that is where it gets interesting, as do you then have to bargain with each individual university and player? And should a school like Georgetown get more than a lower level conference team?

There's always been little value in college games compared to NBA video games because the players leave for the pros constantly. So even if you have a no name guy who is supposed to represent a real player, the game is only relevant for half a season if that.

And should a school like Georgetown get more than a lower level conference team? Going through all the schools or even conferences would be a headache. I do think you could make a "College All Stars" game with the top 15 or 20 players in the game, individually licensed. Might be a programming nightmare to build in each players tendencies and strengths, but saves the trouble of trying to first get the university, then get each player.
