I hope we can get Watson & Livingston.
One year of Aminu, Livingston, and Riley being able to defend and dominate the 2-4 would be exciting to see with Watson behind them & ready to play a big role as a Soph.
Riley, Watson, Clark, Anglin/Beard, Billingsley, Holloway (just mentioning 2/3/4 guys) would still be a nice core in '23-'24 if Aminu (2yr) and Livingston (1) left early. A couple of additional transfers & '23 pickups... and you're hopefully managing the loss of two 5* pretty well.

Watson and Livingston is the ideal combination and that lineup of Dante, Riley, Aminu, Livingston, and whoever is our center would be top 25 I think and I think the huge jump in competition might be another reason why aminu could stay two years and I would not say no. Watson is at a good level and his versatility is good to have when playing back up minutes first year

This kid is hopefully our next signee. He fits a need, is local, has strong ties to the coaching staff, is likely underrated. Hoping we can get him and keep things rolling with the higher level of recruits we are on.

I heard good things about him, that he was a point guard. I watched some of his video clips and he is a strong player with a diverse game. He can handle, shoot and best of all, he is unselfish and can pass the ball. If the NBA's #1 pick Cade Cunningham is a point guard, so is Christian Watson. Time will tell, judge for yourselves.

Dayton...only saying, Christian has very good skills as shown in his videos. He has similar skills to what I saw in Cade. He's a big guy (I think 6-6 or 6-7) with guard skills, everything I said. He's still in high school and time will tell about his skills and how he demonstrates them. I think he would be an asset to us.
Let us LOL!!

Guy is making a call tomorrow which is a big move up in his recruitment. Not sure if right after his Miami visit that is good or bad (can't really be good, can it)? Unless he saw something he really didn't like at Miami or he decided after a second visit that Gtown was the spot. Hoping it is the latter.

The combination of coming off the Miami visit and deciding to forego the Marquette visit (and a 2nd Georgetown visit) seems to suggest it will be Miami. 2 247 crystal balls are both currently for Georgetown, it will be telling if those change. Should really push hard for Dunn if Watson goes to Miami.

While there's always the exception to the rule in recruiting - it would certainly appear he's headed to Miami.

Hard to know if the crystal ball changes really have any inside information, or if they are just reading the tea leaves like everyone on here. Deciding soon after a visit certainly makes you think it might be Miami, but maybe someone else that the Hoyas is pursuing is pushing to make a decision and the staff is telling Watson they need a decision from him soon or the offer will disappear. We will all know in the next day or so. Miami has had good success getting kids from the local area, so Watson going to Miami would not be a shock

I said that I wouldn't post on here because of the ludicrous things that I've had to deal with dealing with the moderators. But, I need to say this and then you won't hear from me in a while. If we lose out on Watson, I think coach should focus on the transfer market and don't waste anymore time, from this point on, with high school recruits except Livingston and Martin as they are the two highest we have on the board and they are worth going after.
Like I said before, we need to ONLY swing, hit or miss on top high school players and that is high four star or five star players. We need to concentrate on trying to land one or two of them during the recruitment period and then try to fill our roster with transfers.
With a transfer you are bound to get a very good player and you don't have to work as hard trying to convince them to choose Georgetown like you would have to convince a high schooler. That's my two cents.
I hope we get Watson and if we don't I pray that coach, starting next year, will look to change his recruiting strategy. We need to get our players MOSTLY from the transfer market until we can stabilize our roster and focus less on high schoolers (maybe 10 to 20 high top four star five star players spread out over three years hoping to land one or two a year).
