Makes sense. He'll get picked up somewhere. Better than then entering the transfer portal.

St. John's.. Already lost Cole, Moore, and Roberts. Now these two Something must be going on at St John's for this many players, who were all getting PT, to be leaving. I got the sense watching them play that they enjoyed playing for Anderson. It going to school down in Queens that bad!!!!! ?

Only royalty comes out of Queens.

Think we should change the subtitle of this thread from Shaka Smart to Marquette to Transfer Central.

That's a huge lose. I know part of it might have to do with the Plantation comments but he was really a key piece for them. It's too bad we can't get any of these guys since they are all in the Big East.

I'm starting to think the new transfer rules are basically a way to destroy the lower conferences. Assuming that ESPN/ACC/Big 12/Big 10 are considered the top tier with the top media stage, then they are going to be able to poach the best players from all the other conferences and gradually have the cream of the crop "super teams"

Let’s be real, the NCAA only cares that the elites are the best teams by a mile and if that takes destroying anyone who isn’t a major media market then they will do it. It’s just like how colleges are just corporations these days, kids are assets.
