I guess I meant more that the Big 3 (Michigan, Ohio State, MSU) are protected with highly winnable games against lesser opponents rather than risk being matched up with Villanova or UCONN which could pull the top 25 rankings out of the Big 10 and into the Big East. Essentially last year the Big 10 was able to keep their inflated rankings in conference by not playing anyone out of conference. This led to them getting a record number of teams in the tournament, only to have them all flame out because they were all overrated. I agree with you professor about the BIG10 being overrated last year but they were also unlucky at the top in the tourney. Michigan lost Livers, Illinois and OSU had horrible matchups. If the team you play wins multiple games then I don't like to put the overrated tag on you. It's exactly what the media says about the JT3 teams. The difference last year though was the Big 10 was gifted a bunch of top 25 rankings in preseason and then were just able to keep those rankings in the conference since they did not play any out of conference games. All Michigan, OSU, Illinois "Big Wins" were just against over overrated Big 10 tams. There really was no effective way to measure the actual strength of the conference till the tournament for the Big 10. With the III teams, they did play and do well against high ranked out of conference teams during the regular season so their rankings were justified.

Shocking! But they are very real contenders as long as Gill is properly good and (correct me if not) with Samuels back they might have the best players at their positions in the nation

Wish he has stayed in the draft...think he showed his potential last year...and I hope Garcia goes somewhere other than back to Marquette...alot of BE teams adding talent, time to start landing some big time fish for 22 to take advantage of our BE title...

BE is certainly going to be much tougher next year and hopefully it translates into a situation like the B10 had where every conference win becomes a good win in terms of NET rating.
With so much turnover on our roster it’s tough to have super high expectations, but for some reason I think we may be poised to surprise this year. That being said I still think .500 is probably the ceiling, however if it’s inclusive of some quality wins and the BE is as strong as it looks to be, that certainly can have us in the bubble conversation.

If we can make it to .500 in the league, we should have a good chance at the NCAAs. I just worry about a slow start due to all the new faces and lack of Kenner.

If Powell's attorneys can't even correctly identify Testa, the quality of his legal representation is severely in question. And the lawsuit and article fail to mention if an actual doctor examined Powell's knee.

Yikes, that can't help recruiting!!! Although isn't there a story of the Hoyas medical staff not diagnosing McClung's injury correctly and that was part of why he transferred?

First off it isn’t a “story” as it hasn’t reached the public (reported on) and has no particular need to. Mac actually pressured himself into playing through his own injury to maintain his social media fame (too much pressure from folks telling him to suit back up) and then tried to blame the training staff for his own lack of discipline in waiting to properly heal. If he wasn’t ready he should’ve just owned that. He hurt his team and himself and appeared to deflect blame. Happens with younger folks, it was probably a bit too much to process at the time.
