Compared to Iowa, Oregon is playing elite level defense. Oregon has missed a bunch of bunnies. This should be a 25 point game right now. Tell me about it. Williams is like 0 for 4 from within a foot haha. I love Dana Altman in March. Doesn't matter what seed we are, I'm confident we can compete. Barring utter collapse this is our fourth trip to the Sweet 16 in our past five tournament appearances. The team looked capable last year, too, before the tournament was canceled. Completely agree. Altman teams never seem to be taken by surprise come tourney time. I expect to see a USC/Oregon matchup in the sweet 16.

Gotta love How the Big Fraud got 9 teams in the tourney and stole bids from some deserving bubbly real teams

Not really. Besides, this year is a not a normal year, due to COVID.
The Big boys will get their preferential treatment as always.

Or, on second thought, he probably wasn’t. hm

Anyone else dying to see Colorado play tonight? Anyone else ready to jump out of their easy chairs if Colorado goes 6-25 from 3?

Is a close game too much to ask? We were spoiled yesterday I guess.

Hopefully The Blue Jays hang on and the BE will have 2 teams in the sweet 16....although a week ago I thought UCONN would be the best in the BE. Nova and Creightons play makes our run in the BE tourney look all the more impressive. I think Colorado is a Final Four team but beyond that...... well Baylor and Zags are on another planet...

Pac 12 so far thru 3 days 7-0 Make it 8-0 with UCLA's win. And I'm fully expecting to see all 5 Pac-12 schools make the Sweet 16 at this point. I think USC and Colorado (the 2 left) might be the best of the bunch actually, but matchups will matter.

Terrence Williams is thickkkk. Sibley needs some of what he’s been drinking.

Any team that sees that damn 2-3 zone a few times learns how to play it, and ‘cuse is a just a mediocre (at best team). But in the tournament where they can’t play a conference foe early or non-con rematch (really they never play anyone decent minus us anyway in non-conf) they completely confuse their opponents. It’s infuriating. The funny thing is that the Princeton was supposed to give us this same advantage in the tournament and outside of the Big East but after the Final Four it never did. Not enough margin for error when the number of possessions are reduced.

I'm watching the Colorado/FSU game right now and the main difference between Georgetown and FSU is that FSU, at least right now while I'm watching plays with all forwards and guards. It looks like to me the tallest guy on the floor might be 6 feet 8 or something like that. FSU is just playing with quickness and is therefore having an effect on Colorado's offense. I hate the fact that basketball is pretty much gone small ball completely eliminating the center position.

He kept Q out there because Q is all he we had that day. Not some philosophical stubbornness. Colorado locked everybody out on the outside. Their D should have been the bigger story than Walker's career day.
Ewing had his hands tied. Either get shut out completely going small or try to keep it with the only option we had in Q on offense. Either way, we were getting blown out.
Colorado is a darn good team from now what we see is an elite Pac-12 conference this year. They beat us soundly for a reason.
We are not in the dance this year without Q's play.

I talked about the same stuff in this article earlier in the Program Approach link. Same stuff and I even mentioned about how Blair (no fault of his own) was constantly having to leave his man to cut off the penetrating guards which led to wide open threes. In this article actually shows one of the plays that I was speaking of.
