He would be part of a good recruiting class.

Ok we have to land this kid. It really is approaching (But not necessarily true) do or die with this guy because I don't think the recruiting class while solid, is good enough to get us where we need to be especially under Ewing at this point. Also, if he commits then the rest of the class is staying because atm I would not be shocked if we had one or two bail by the end of December if we get blown out 9 times out of 10, but he would really swing the mood rn and possibly single handily save the program and Ewing's job (he would probs not get fired until at least half way through next year with another bad start). Also at least Indiana got destroyed earlier, by a top 25 yes, but only could manage 22 points all game not from free throws and if I was Aminu then I would not be too sold on a place that has missed on every major target and when even in our worst hour we got a good class. So I think Georgia is the biggest issue so I just hope somehow they pull this off but not that hopeful.

We were picked to finish last in our conference for a reason. Aminu has to be sold that the ‘21 class is going to turn things around for GU.

Would think that his HS team looking to play games this winter can't be anything but a good thing for us.

How does anyone go to play under that glue sniffing count dracula Crean? Once we get Aminu we shock with the additions of Baldwin & Holmgren and we roll out our own fab five, BAM!!!

That's the kind of good crazy this board needs. Beard Mohammed Baldwin Holmgren Wahab Harris, Riley, Clark, Sibley, Igohefe, Mutombo off the bench

"What we want to do is have him prepared for early enrollment and if the season should for any reason be shut down have him ready to enroll with no hiccups. Ideally, completing his Senior year is the first option."

We are getting closer to the middle of December - has anyone got any updated information or thoughts? You would fit in really well here at Georgetown Aminu! Go Hoyas!

Theoretically speaking, if Sibley and Ewing both felt that the player-coach-school fit was not what each had hoped + Sibley had an injury that kept him from playing any minutes his 1st semester, then would it be possible for him to transfer to another school for 2nd semester and be eligible to play at the start of the 2021-2022 season (ie hardship waiver or other)? If so, would that open up a roster spot for us next semester?

I would think it's not allowed, but somebody here probably knows the rule. As far as Sibley goes... he played 8 minutes last game. I doubt he's going anywhere. Just needs some time before he'll contribute apparently.

Definitely needs more time both working on his game and lifting weights.

I don't think you want Sibley to transfer out. I think Sibley is going to prove to be a dawwg. Even though he is skinny as hell, you can look at him and tell he's a baller.
