A consistent jumpshot is all that is separating Mr. Riley from making a lot of money a few years down the line. If he puts in the work and achieves shooting prowess, look out.

With his athletism he only needs to shoot around 30% from 3 to be really hard to guard. Upper 30s and you are looking at Jr year Peak 2.0....

I think he will surprise you by being our second best 3-pt shooter. Maybe Rice and Dante have something to say about that...

Not sure if it got posted elsewhere, but just saw that Riley was named Gatorade New York Player of the Year. He is getting a lot of accolades and people that have coached against him praise him big time. I do not understand how the recruiting services seem to be the only ones who haven't watched him enough to raise him above a 3-star. It feels more like we are getting a high 4-star caliber player at worst with him. I'm expecting he's going to surprise those who weren't paying attention next year.

His stars don't matter now. He's a Hoya, D1 athlete and his game will speak for itself.

It's basically because rankings are made in the summer. There wasn't an evaluation period where you got to see high level guys competing against each other you have to figure there might be more mis-evaluations than in past years. Hopefully Jordan is one of those guys, but we'll see...

Jordan was our marquee recruit in that class prior to Muhammad coming on board. He lost last year due to injury. Beard, Riley, Billingsley, Muhammad, Mutombo. We are down to one guy and that is likely only because he is tied to the campus through his father. Man is this pathetic.

It's a shame - he was from near my hometown on Long Island and not too from where Dr. J played. More talent wasted at GU - enough said.
