Anybody know if the team is on campus yet? Most of the BIG EAST programs have their full roster on campus and holding workouts. Some of the teams started back in late July early August. Just curious as I haven't heard a thing (which is typical Georgetown Basketball).
Getting ready to start September and haven't heard anything in terms of the team being together and going through conditioning, individual and team workouts. If there is going to be a season, the Hoyas are way behind not only BIG EAST programs but schools all over the country. Several Big 10 & 12 teams started their workouts in early to mid July. With eight new membersb the team has to start building cohesion.
Safety first of course, so if D.C. is having COVID-19 issues and they don't believe it's safe to have anyone on campus that's fine. Since I'm not in the DMV right now, I'm not sure what's going on or if there is a public plan in place. Curious to know if anyone else has any info on this?

I appreciate the input, but being in phase 2 doesn't in any way prohibit the team from being on campus and going through conditioning and workouts. There are plenty of maneuvers/tactics that could be put in place to have the team together safely and staying Phase 2 compliant especially with little to know other students on campus.

"This is being done to "celebrate" college basketball."
This is usual coaching nonsense. You would have 200 teams playing to get into a round of 256, then two more weeks of rounds to get to 64. How do teams get across country to get to these games? What arena is hosting 24 Thursday games?
Read: "This is being done to protect our coaches who are about to be fired." Boston College, step right up...
