And who here still believe the sociopath has done a good job responding to the pandemic? Allowing his deplorable cultists to attack Dr. Fauci? 140,000 dead? This week’s remarkable character assault by some top White House advisers on Anthony S. Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious-disease expert, signified President Trump’s hostility toward medical expertise and has produced a chilling effect among the government scientists and public health professionals laboring to end the pandemic, according to administration officials and health experts. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/rancor-between-scientists-and-trump-allies-threatens-pandemic-response-as-cases-surge/2020/07/17/d950e9b6-c777-11ea-a99f-3bbdffb1af38_story.htmlFor weeks this summer, it was a seeming paradox of the coronavirus pandemic: cases in the United States were rising but deaths were falling. To the Trump administration, this was evidence that its strategy for combating covid-19 was working. To medical experts, it was only a matter of time before the trajectory changed. And now it has. Nationwide, deaths have begun to rise again. In some of the worst-hit states, especially across the South and the West, new death records are being set daily. As a virus-scarred summer wears on, public health specialists say the numbers are almost certain to continue to climb. www.washingtonpost.com/national/its-not-only-coronavirus-cases-that-are-rising-now-covid-deaths-are-too/2020/07/17/193006e8-c868-11ea-8ffe-372be8d82298_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-banner-main_coronavirus-850pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory-ans

This is probably the best news we could hope for. His “working it” is guaranteed to be a disaster so if he’s off doing something else, it frees up the professionals to, in theory, improve the situation.

I guess Trump wasn't kidding when he said the plan was to just do less testing and cover it all up.

Coronavirus briefings to resume according to the WH. Will the sociopath have good sense kick in, stay away from them, and let the public health professionals handle the briefings?? Apparently not.
President Trump on Monday said he will resume giving regular coronavirus briefings this week, reviving a practice that is controversial among some aides as infections surge across the United States.
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office he would deliver a briefing at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. It would mark his first time participating in a coronavirus briefing since late April. -- The Hill

He will continue to say stupid things and downplay the significance of the virus despite the fact that it’s currently hitting some of his base states hard. I’m sure he will go into attacking Biden and the media during these, but that seems to not be getting much traction outside his core supporters at this point. The more he talks, the worse it is for him.

Why didn’t Dr Fauci wear his mask During the Expos’ home opener? Why did he not sit socially distanced?
Does he know something we don’t? Could he be a raging hypocrite?
